Silly me, forgot you are in Melbourne.

I dunno how much difference that 5 minutes makes for Haddin really.

He has to put on a lot of gear, 10 minutes is quite a rush for the players to be ready to start the next innings. The extra 5 minutes just means he does not have to rush as much.
That is one of the reasons why captains usually do not declare at breaks. The openers have to rush around to get their bat, pads on etc and do not have much time to get settled.

Still that might not have been the reason.

Cook- Bell partnership was probably Englands best chance of giving strong resistance but with Bell gone it is far more likely it will finish today. England cannot afford to lose another wicket today to have any chance of saving the test tomorrow.

SA all out following some big hitting from the tail to get a lead of 106. Hopefully they can get some early Tasmania wickets so they can push for an outright win.
