If Farah played the game instead of demanding penalties by putting his arms up NSW might make some ground in game 2 ;)

Good win, Origin really isn't what it used to be though.
wtf is up with NSW players not packing a scrum and forcing the ref to go to the video ref, 5 minutes later Smith wants the ref to go up to the video ref for Slater potentially being taken out yet the ref won't. Either give both teams the opportunity or don't do it at all. :x
Anyway the myth that is GI continues has no idea how to impose himself on a big game.
Hodges & Chambers, superb running tonight. =d>
Boyd was well off the pace.
Still think we need another big forward in the team, Happy with Mcguire's debut though.
Lastly that NSW backline  having cats like Tupou & Hopoate bringing the ball back doesn't scare anyone.

Pretty boring game to be honest, NSW died in the arse and did less than zero in the 2nd half

Another do nothing did fuck all night from Pearce. Yet he will have a good game for Roosters on the weekend and get picked for game two and three. Dumb fuck selectors.

This is an exhibition in how to lose a game from NSW.
So winning Origin was fun while it lasted. Here's to another decade of QLD winning.

Can't remember ever caring less about Origin before. All I care about is that the Bulldogs players make it through unscathed.

So pumped for tonight. The buildup to this in Brisbane has been outrageous. Praying the boys can get the job done and shut these arrogant Queensland cunts up [-o<

 NSW can keep Hodkinson, no way he gets back into this team, and no way he should be. In 10 mins we've looked better with Reynolds and Mbye in the halves than we have with Hodkinson at any time this season

"Pride of the league"
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Anyway in terms of preparing for the future I think we're slowly getting there.
I'm sure I'll forget a few guys but nonetheless
You have Chambers introduced in the last year, Gagai will takeover from Hodges next year as well.
In terms of fullbacks we have GI (Boyd is a pretty decent backup as well) who will step in for Slater in the next few years (who I expect to be moved out to the wing)
Due to the Yow Yeh injury we are a little light on in quality wingers but Holmes will be ready in a couple of seasons.
Guerra, Gillett & Papalii are entering their prime. Napa has been introduced to the squad this year.(Give it a few years Oates and Lowe will screaming out for call ups as well)
The halves look in good shape with Hunt & DCE (Morgan as well- Depending on where he finishes up)
At hooker we are set as well with Friend, Segeyaro and even McCullough.
The front row is a concern though - desperately need McGuire to step up and hope like hell a few of the older boys hang on for the next few years before the younger guys are ready. (Perrett, Molo, Ofahengaue, etc.)
There are also a fair few other guys who haven't really hit NRL level just yet but look very promising.
Think we're in pretty good shape for the future. :d

The likes of Myles, Parker, Thaiday, Scott.
Time for new blood ffs.
-PB Can't agree with that. Maybe with Myles (But he was pretty good last Origin Series) Parker is probably the best lock in the game at the moment. (Have a look at his stats) Thaiday is in his best form since probably five years ago. (Plus he always turns up for Origin) Scott -we really don't have many quality frontrowers at the moment, can't think of any who deserve to be there instead of him. Agreed. Origin is about picking the best 17, no matter age. The only time you think of the future is if it's a dead rubber

Also for those that play SuperCoach, started off with Graham due to his great bye schedule, cop a shitty four week suspension, decide to hold onto him, he comes back and gets concussed and gives me a shitty score and than misses this week as well, ffs. :x

Not 100% sure but think he has played some lock for us, but yeah he's primarily a second rower. As for Graham, I am now glad I brought Burgess in instead of Graham.

paulbagzFC wrote:Morgan in the squad.
Thank fuck.
DCE has been shit house.
Morgan and JT will carve shit up.
-PB I still don't get the obsession of having a utility in the team, it's Game One and we know NSW will pick a very big forward pack. Then you factor in we have Myles as a frontrower and Gillet on the bench as well, thats a very small team, something we struggled with last series. ](*,) It's good that we've ruled out DCE early though, last year he was in terrible form + injured and Mal still played him. That decision lost us the series. Personally think Morgan is a little green and has only been picked based on a good last three weeks but nonetheless I hope he does well. Don't get NSW's team though. No idea why you guys seem to dislike Maloney, he's so far ahead of Hodkinson at the moment its not even funny. Dugan isn't exactly a ball playing fullback either, just puts Pearce under even more pressure (Not the smartest thing to do). SydCro would know more than me but Jackson is a secondrower? Don't think he's ever played lock before? Found that a little strange. It's also quite amazing to think Hopoate is there, he's done a great job of turning a handful of good games at Manly into big $$$'s and a Rep career. Also for those that play SuperCoach, started off with Graham due to his great bye schedule, cop a shitty four week suspension, decide to hold onto him, he comes back and gets concussed and gives me a shitty score and than misses this week as well, ffs. :x Edited by Roar_Brisbane: 21/5/2015 10:55:06 PM
