JT sacrificed money and to an extent a better shot at a premiership to stay up there, purely for the lifestyle and as a way to keep him out of trouble. I think he is a long way from leaving the Dogs though Only ruled out the Cowboys because of the amount of money they've spent re-signing JT, Tamou and Matt Scott probably means they couldn't afford what the Broncos and Titans would be able to offer Ben. Yeah I don't think he's leaving anytime soon but I think it's worth preparing for the eventuality of it because I think it will happen eventually, or at least it seems that way and if we could get Folau it would definitely soften the blow of him leaving. http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/brisbane-broncos-only-queensland-team-that-can-afford-ben-barba/story-e6frg6n6-1226674507729

Oates to debut off the bench. :-k
Dunamis Lui has been dropped. Which is good, for his size he's just too soft.

Complete and utter horseshit. Cyril would be turning in his grave. We don't even have a game plan anymore. Time for clean-out. A very big clean-out.

When your 9,7,6 and 1 aren't good enough, it's destined for disaster. I felt your season was finished was the day you signed Scott Prince. He was a terrible signing given your situation, especially for 2 years. Wallace has enough quality with a real live wire or running 5/8 outside him, not another organisational half. The positional play of Norman for the Blair try from the half way line in the second half was horrific, how a break of that length can be made and the fullback isn't in a position to attempt a tackle is beyond me.
I do have to admit that after 20 years of Broncos fans having it so easy it is funny to watch them suffer through a tough patch.

I do have to admit that after 20 years of Broncos fans having it so easy it is funny to watch them suffer through a tough patch. So many problems at the moment. Norman just isn't a fullback. He has silky hands but that's it. His positioning and decision making are poor, he runs to soft and can't tackle. I still think Hoffman is an excellent fullback but he's been scoring for fun on the wing, so maybe he should stay there. If we don't get Folau or Barba we are stuffed. Really missing Yow Yeh at the moment. Agree about the halves but I still think Prince has had the better season. Maybe it would be better to unload Wallace for the extra cap space. But no ones on the market at this stage. ](*,) McCullough is hopeless. His dummy's I swear to god. ](*,) ](*,) We let Granville have maybe 40 minutes and he starred. Took a couple of steps out of dummyhalf and get the fowards on a roll but he's been dropped. ](*,) ](*,) I could go on all night but I'm off to bed.

Look, I know it's Rugby League, so these blokes aren't too bright, but it's basic addition. If you can't math, you shouldn't be running a sports team.

Quote:Canberra boss Don Furner indicated the Raiders would do so. "We were aware of our overspend in both first tier and second tier salary caps however we will be lodging an appeal in the size of the fines and we're confident in that appeal,'' he said. "This overspend related to representative bonuses, and payments to players outside the top 25 to cover long term injuries. "In 2012 we had to activate a number of clauses in younger player's contracts, as we needed to fill the positions left vacant by long term injuries to our top squad. "Breaches of the lower tier cap related to a number of allowances to our second tier players. "We will be lodging an appeal this afternoon based on the fines issued to us.'' sorry state of affairs for the eels - loving that we smacked them but tbh no cred v's them anymore for now, its the worst this once proud club due to the 80's wins have ever been.

I'm not sure what to make about our starting lineup this week. It's frustrating that the only changes we ever make are down to origin and injuries.
I still don't see why where playing Norman still. He's abandoned the club and all we're doing is helping Para. We should be preparing for next season.

Hopefully NSW respond like the Sharks do by winning a higher percentage of games without him than with him.

I think NSW could survive with Gallen out, but with both him and Hayne out I think it may be to much. Hayne imo is the bigger loss anyway.

Fallen is our best player, but Hayne is the x-factor player that scares Queensland, and he takes a lot of pressure off the halves. Woods needs to pull his finger out in this game

Look gallen is the engine room star but there are others who work just as hard. Hayne, thats right the x factor that can win a game out of the blue parden the pun, which do you prefer when a game is hanging by a thread and the ball spins wide. bagz - huh works both ways.
