Bloody hell the Cowboys can hold their heads so high after that performance. I hop people don't take it out on the Sharks, it's not their fault at all. That performance from JT is one of the best I've ever seen in a losing team.

Yes!!!! That's the best game I've seen in so many years. Very confident one of those will be premiers. One game later and Jamie Lyon has probably outdone JT's performance. What a night for Rugby League!

Either the NRL dont give a shit about the poor refereeing which is now a consistent component in the game, or they are behind it as a means of swinging results in a more favourable way. Either way, nothing will be done about it, and rugby league will continue to become a shithole of a game.

Feel so bad for you guys. 2 years in a row to the day you have been robbed in an elimination final. JT is a once in a generation player, and for the Cowboys to attract these players will be rare, and for the second year to be robbed of the chance (albeit slim) of the premiership is disgraceful.

Disappointed I didn't get to see the Sharks win an important match for once. Glad to see once again that nobody likes us.

With all the complaining I now expect someone to go through the entire season and count how many times a ref has miscounted the tackles. I have seen it happen several times in the few games I've watched this season.

While it was a bad mistake, the complaining from Queenslanders is fucking ridiculous. Now apparently there's some conspiracy against them by the NRL to make sure a QLD team doesn't win the comp. This bullshit about them being robbed is also a fucking joke. The incident happened in the fucking 8th minute, not the 78th ffs. They had 72 mins to make the mistake irrelevant and weren't good enough to do it. Unlike last year you can't make the argument that it changed the game because of how early it happened.

Also having a good laugh about the fact that even Cowboys players and coaching staff are basically claiming a conspiracy against Queensland teams, because of the State of Origin. Johnathon 'Rapist' Thurston basically came out and said it in the Ch 9 news at 6 tonight. :lol:

Far and away the most disgusting thing was the sharks fans abuse at the Cowboys players after the game. The call didn't cost the Cowboys the game, but it made it unfairly difficult for them to win. I actually think the call against the Storm was worse, as the video ref sat down, looked at it several times and still completely fucked up. I'm also not sure that everyone would be so forgiving if it happened to their team 2 years in a row. Having said all of that, neither side had a chance at the premiership

Yes the conspiracy theories are stupid, but that doesn't change that the most basic of refereeing errors was responsible for costing the game.

If it were a 40 point margin, hell even a 10-12 margin between the teams where it was more one sided I would cop it sweet on the chin and yes we played like shit, but we could have played like shit and still won if it wasn't for that turd of a try.

And I totally agree with that.

No way we were going to get past the likes of the top 4, but in saying that Cowboys can beat anyone on any given day if they decide to turn up and not make errors, but unfortunately we don't have that chance to see now.

Look in the end be angry at it all you want, I would if I were in your position, but it does matter when it happened. It happening in the 8th minute meant you weren't 'robbed' of anything. Not a chance at a premiership and you weren't robbed of a chance to win the game. If it was the Sharks last try that's a completely different story.

Did have a good laugh at Cowboys fans calling the Sharks players cheats :lol: They found out about it at half time ffs.

Yeah they miscounted.

Lol then this ^^ makes no sense. Players in any sports are encouraged to play to the whistle. Good on the Sharks for not giving up, I say.
