Can't believe the shit storm this SBW situation has caused. What coach wouldn't bring him in at any stage possible, they're a real chance to win it FFS

Genuinely surprised he's staying. At least Roosters fans get to enjoy one last year with him.

I've never understood the hype that SBW gets, he's a good player but it's just ridiculous. I'd take Parker ahead of him every day of the week. Stats from this season. SBW Parker No doubt they are slightly different players, Parker is more of a workhorse where as SBW is more of a play making forward but Parker makes 18 hit-ups a match @ 7.8 M per run totaling 141 M per match. While SBW makes 12 hit-ups a match @ 9 M per run totaling 108 M per match. Parker makes 42 tackles a match. While SBW makes 24 tackles a match. Parker made 7 errors all season. While SBW made 23 errors all season. Parker makes 3 offloads a match. While SBW makes 2.6 offloads a match. SBW did score more trys than Parker but he was in a better team but credit to SBW he does have a much better scoring record in his career than Parker. Would love to see some try assists, line break assists between these two. I'd assume SBW would be a bit better here. SBW is a good player but the hype is just way over the top.

The hypes there because we went from a bottom of the table team to premiers thanks to his inclusion and some great coaching. We had lost the GF until he tore the game apart in the last 20. He is the most explosive player in the game.
I like Corey Parker but they're not in the same ball park

I like Corey Parker but they're not in the same ball park I still think to much is made of you guys going from bottom to top. You guys under-performed woefully in 2012. Smith always does a good job at building squads just can't get the final result. Not trying to take away from Robinson as he did a great job in bring in some quality players, tactics were superb as well. But it's not like SBW joined Parra who had been written off by everyone and brought them to the top. Sydney always had potential I'd even argue that without SBW they'd go close to the top. I agree that SBW is more explosive they are different type of players. But that explosiveness also leads to more mistakes and some poor decision making. Just look at his first 20 in the GF that was well below par. For what he delivers and in comparison to other forwards in the comp I think he is hyped up way to much.

Heard some interesting rumours involving us in the past couple of days.
Daniel Vidot: Apparently wants a release and it looks like we could pick him up on the cheap. Would really like this to happen, was a big fan of him when he burst onto the scene. Seeing as Hodges will be out for at least half of next season, Yow Yeh may never play again, Copley returning from a serious injury, Kahu and his run of niggling injuries, Oates is actually a second rower, Stagg will hopefully never be played in the centres again. Not to forget Maranta is shit house, a signing like this will be great for depth.
Todd Lowerie: Has gained a release from the Warriors and will be moving to Brisbane due to personal/family reasons. Could possibly retire if he does not get a contract. Do not want a shit footballer and will add nothing to the squad.
Issac Luke: Talk that his family wants to return home to Brisbane.
Plus the usual bits on Smith, Milford and DCE.

Great draw for me personally. Only 1 Bulldogs game clashes with a Wanderers game and it's away in Perth against the Storm so don't miss anything. Our game against the Roosters is on the night before the 3rd derby :d
Loving our draw, only 3 home games in the first 20 rounds on a Friday night, and if you count away games that I would go to it's only 6/20
