Kane Evans not charged for his shoulder charge on Kasiano, and rightly so imo.

The Fifita brothers handed 6 week bans and a $30,000 fine each. Bans a backdated to when they were stood down so they'll be back for week 1 of the finals, which is nice and convinient.

Origin 1 showed he's still capable of a great performance but its the best call for everyone. I see the NRL has lost the plot in regards to shoulder charges again.

Said it in the other thread  but will say it again here. Big game for us this weekend. Titans are a bit of a bogey team but hopefully pull our fingers out for 80 minutes and improve our pts difference.

With Beastwood back I am loudly optimistic. On another note, did anyone watch last nights game. How shit are Canberra at putting teams away?! They should of flogged the Tigers but end up losing. Have you also noticed that Farah is slowly losing the mantle as the number 1 decision maker at the Tigers, which knowing the huge ego Farah has he would be spewing! Mitchell Moses was cracking it at him a few times early on when the ball didn't go his way, slowly as the game went on he started listening to his halves. Shillington losing his shit was great tv too!

Not quite curtains, apart from Souths we actually have a pretty soft run home really with the Knights and a Warriors in round 26 who probably won't be in contention for finals. That and Manly play the Roosters and Sharks their last 2 rounds I hae us optimistically finishing 7th ahead of the Dragons on pts difference Edited by sydneycroatia58: 11/8/2015 05:03:27 PM

Bar a complete collapse we will make the top 8, its more so kicking on afterwards that concerns me.

18 penalties tonight, what a joke.
Man how many forward passes does Luke throw in a match though?
It annoys me the shit service that Dylan Walker gets at Souths, such a quality player. Can't believe they think Johnston is their future fullback.
Ch 9 giving GBurgess MOTM.
Wonder how many weeks Keary will get for his shoulder charge???

Plays for Souths, so probably 0. Rumour that Andrew Fifita wants to quit the NRL to play for Tonga at the RWC.

Also re Shoulder Charge debate, I read this today:
"Molo’s shoulder hit James’ chest and the whiplash effect severed arteries in his neck"
I haven't seen that tackle and I don't particularly want to but any tackle could have the potential to do that. :-k

Caught the highlights of Jarryd Hayne against Houston Texans. What a great performance. Looks like he had a crack at running back and returner. 🏈👍🏻

Nice of Lichaa to get himself injured so we have a way to fit Mbye, Reynolds and Hodkinson into the same starting side.

Here we go. Up 18-0 against the Titans last year and lost 19-18 and now throwing away a 16-4 lead and probably lose this.
I should deathride them more often. Now a chance to not let up and improve our pts difference.

Man how many tries do the Bulldogs score off blatant forward passes?
Serious concerns for the Titans under Henry though. Time and time again he makes some very questionable decisions. I do often wonder how these guys continue to get job after job despite continually make the same foolish mistakes.

Just realised that if we beat Souths next week we go just 2 pts behind them with us having the Knights and Warriors left while they have Broncos and Roosters. Would be hilarious if we finished above them

Dam frustrating as these clubs generally have so much potential in their squads. :(
