Klemmer just got a couple of weeks for touching the ref gently to make him aware of an injured player. It is getting a bit silly now, there was absolutely nothing in it that required a suspension. Imho he has been suspended because of his history and nothing else

I don't get it, the Rabbitohs love to constantly talk about how many millions of members they have, but can't draw a crowd to an actual game.

The Dragons have been horrendous today (as they were last week), the same unimaginative one out rubbish almost every tackle from a below par forward pack who struggle to get any metres. On the rare occasion they decide to spread some hog either cuts in and ignores his outside backs or they turn it over.

I don't get why they've signed Mann he's such a nothing player and is clearly not a fullback.

Typical week in the NRL. So at least four players (probably more) touched a ref but only two were charged.

While Matulino gets off as : "Matulino's defence team argued that he was bracing for contact, and that the involvement of a second tackler meant he couldn't properly wrap his arms around Oates".

I could understand the whole he couldn't properly wrap his arms if he had hit Oates with his left shoulder when Gavet came in at roughly the same time. However Matulino was actually the 2nd tackler as the first tackler went low, Matulino comes in hits with his right and due to that first tackler being low there's no reason why he couldn't wrap an arm. :?

Should be zero tolerance for any ref contact.

Glad common sense prevailed and Klemmer was found not guilty.

Because it's at Homebush. And even then, the SFS is shit. Every Rabbitohs fan knows the club belongs in Redfern, and every Rabbitohs fan knows that it's not going to happen anytime soon. Luckily we have a massive fanbase but there's not much we can do. I don't blame people for not turning up to either Homebush or the SFS. Homebush is too far and the SFS has the shit members tiers which always makes them games look empty anyway.

So the video refs can now rule on forward passes. Good to know.

Was absolutely ridiculous. The system clearly failed here. The ref's boss said because one of the touchies called a forward they overruled the onfield decision. But that effectively means that as long as one touch judge calls it forward, the video ref can now decide to call forwards by overruling the decision to back that touchy. Opened up a horrible can of worms.

And it was a draw this afternoon between the raiders and knights
