sydneycroatia58 wrote:Honestly, if we had even just an average forward pack we'd be one of the worst sides in the comp. Won't go close to winning a comp until we have a half who can actually dominate. Honestly think you guys win the comp/gf comfortably in 2014 with a better than average half. James Graham's ball playing has covered over how big of an issue it for you guys imo. I've been told by a pretty reliable source that if Cronk does leave Melbourne the Dogs is where he will end up. Having said that though they did also say he's a good chance to be staying in Melbourne:lol:

Feel like we'd be much better off with Reynolds at 9, Mbye at 6 and a half who can take control at 7.

-PB I was tempted to come here and brag about the Roosters being back after tonight..then I watched that Cowboys first half:lol: Unbelievable footy. I'd feel bad for the opposition because no team can match this quality other than Brisbane, but it's Manly so fuck em.

That would've been try of the season for the sharks - if it wasn't for the two blatant forward passes, being in touch and knocking it on.

I'm just annoyed that we (Canterbury) played and lost to the Eels twice already. Once they shed players and have nothing to play for, they will be a lot easier to beat. Robbed of 4 points ;)

Very interesting to see which players they shed. They can't exactly do it easily either. They have to find clubs willing to pay the players the same amount the eels are, with any difference still coming out of the eels cap. Unless they handle this very well from here it will cripple them for seasons.

Fucking  Parra
Breaches in 5 of the last 6 seasons $3m over the cap since 2013 More than $500k over this season Can't get pts this season until they're back under the cap Breaches aren't just from 3rd party deals Agents and players conduct to be looked at Club literally gave players cash outside the cap

Yea I'm not sure what they are going to do, they've signed a ton of guys leading into this season and I'm sure none of them will want to move on after just changing clubs. Best case for them - move on Junior Paulo early to the Raiders, get rid of Moeroa (he's an overrated cat - but would be highly rated by many clubs) + a combination of De Gois, Edwards, Folau, French, Gower, Kelly, Morgan & Wicks. Not sure if that would be enough. This is a huge opportunity for so many clubs. I'd love it for someone like the Tigers to sign Ma'u after just signing Taylor, would completely overhaul their pack in a matter of weeks.

Parra can't even cheat the cap right  at least us and Melbourne cheated the cap to be good, the Eels somehow managed to cheat the cap and finish last in 2013.

So starting this season finals games will change to 5 minutes extra time each way, then golden point if scores are still level after that. I don't see a need for golden point at all but still a move in the right direction. They need to make the same change for origin as well.
