Looks like BDO has given up on the metal market leaving it all to Soundwave. Pity, there were some pretty good metal shows at BDO years back.

BDO know that they've been fighting a losing battle on that front for years.

Green Day and Muse are a fair way off dropping, aren't they?

Green Day - September, November and January next year.
Muse - rumoured 17th September. That's what the countdown on their website says anyway.

Yeah, that's still a fair way away then. I've been looking for the albums out in the next month or so.

Yeah, I know haha. Was just stating what I'm looking forward to (Y).

Gaslight Anthem is out July 25. Would definitely recommend checking them out.

BDO would go off the rails for me if The Black Keys come down

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Big Day Out lineup announced next week. I found a supposedly real list of the bands on line. Looks alright, better than last year.

Post it then:p

Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Green Day, Placebo, Underworld, The Temper Trap, Vampire Weekend, Refused, Birds Of Tokyo, Hot Chip, Knife Party, Editors, Two Door Cinema Club, Puscifer, Yeasayer, Mac Miller, Something For Kate, Tame Impala, Sleigh Bells, Van She Tech, Angus Stone, Biffy Clyro, TZU, Childish Gambino, Children Collide, Silversun Pickups, British India, Alabama Shakes, The Enemy, Owl Eyes and Parachute Youth.

Bolder bands are the ones I'd want to see. Even then, RHCP, Greenday and Birds of Tokyo would be the two main ones, everything else is just filler.

That is a nice line up. If that happens I'd probably go purely for RHCP

So...my list was way off :P Which is slightly weird considering I saw a poster online which had all the bands on my list on it.

That was revealed to be fake pretty early IIRC, spelling RHCP wrong was a bit of a give away.
It is definitely the better list though.

I'd still see RHCP, Killers, Grinspoon, Vampire Weekend, Band of Horses, Crystal Castles, Animal Collective, Foals, Alabama Shakes, and maybe Childish Gambino - His music is average but its Troy. I mean a few there like Vampire Weekend, RHCP, Crystal Castles for example I'd be really keen on and a few others I would enjoy but it just doesn't have that big draw card feel to it.

Still waiting for them to announce being headlined by Lady Gaga or something.
