I actually agree. The "TV Ratings" thread is a joke. He only posts figures that out-rate football. Does the same thing with crowds etc too. Just an annoying AFL troll with nothing but bad intentions.

To be fair, when you can only see the top 20 not a lot of football has been rating. When Football's rated in the top 20 he's mentioned it, but it's not happening often.

But you are right, it's not necessary to bump the thread every day. We get it, there are sports out there that out-rate our sport of choice. Shit happens.

Re the Fox Sports ratings thread, I've received really positive feedback on it, and as afro says, I put up whatever gets into the top 20 - no bias, no ad libbing, no editorialising (even sailing made it up one day, which floored me).

We can all get along guys - open your eyes, and your hearts, embrace that with which you are most unfamiliar.

By the way, someone mentioned BF. Some may not be aware that BF gets more traffic than 442, the Roar and TWG combined, plus some.

Interestingly, BF is very catholic about who it allows onto its pages.

442 has something like 9 boards in total.

BF has 164 boards alone dedicated to aussie rules (give or take one, it got difficult counting them all).

A further 8 boards are dedicated to soccer (and they even call it football!)

A further 23 boards are dedicated to other sports, including rugby league, and finally there are 33 general interest boards dedicated to anything and everything.

That's 228 boards in total.

And you guys are worried about one or two threads mentioning the AFL - seriously??

Grow up, broaden your horizons, be more accepting of your fellow Australians.

If people wanted to read about AFL, they'd go on AFL sites. Nobody cares about the content of the BF forums, this isn't BF.

One thread is more than enough, League, Union, American Football get one thread. AFL is no different.

There's individual threads for those respective codes in ET. We accept that, it's ET - off topic. But constant threads about AFL in the Australian Football sub-forum are unwarranted, unnecessary trolling and subsequently (I and many others believe) unacceptable.

The so called "Battle in Sydney's West" topic has derailed completely and must be locked.

Despite the fact that many people want this ,it won't happen with so many AFL loving moderators here.

This thread is hilarious. The same few posters such as the OP continually turn every second thread on 442's main board into a comparison with AFL and how much said topic proves it's "shit" or that there's some anti-Soccer conspiracy theory going on and then they start more threads complaining about how much AFL talk there is on here. Smell the hypocrisy and fear!

I, for one, am quite sick and tired of girtXc's constant racist attacks on our national game and those that wish to discuss it in a safe and harassment-free setting.

These forums were made great by the diversity of opinion, backgrounds and sporting preferences available in making up a football discussion context.

To make it worse, he's now taking aim at the moderators because they won't bow to his xenophobic & homophobic demands. When will the bullying stop?
