It should have just had the stripes going the whole way down, not unlike the old home kit. I'm still not convinced on the home kit, but will be 100% purchasing the new away kit. I thought the away kit had the white shorts. The game against Celtic we played with Navy dominant shorts. True, they did have navy shorts on for that game, but the away kit for the season proper has white shorts.

What we should have had for our home jersey was the strip that we played against Celtic in. That was class... Away kit, i would have settled for a whit and navy kit easily.

That strip is horrible at the moment... though it may grow on me particularly when the sponsors tag goes over it

yes Dingy,
The image you have there was from when Getty let the cat out of the bag and put up waist to head images of the whole team earlier than they should. We are hoping for a bit more detail today.

it is an excellent draw... good mix of early and evening saturdays. Have picked up a junior membership for the nephew, let the brainwashing begin! Save the poor kid from a life in a RL cocoon... My brothers kids are a lot cause lol, working on the sisters ones instead.

I think that makes it around twice last season - which is a good sign , we have a great draw , Im pumped for a great season ! BRING IT ON !

For those unaware or wondering, Mariners memberships will be mailed out late this month.
I queried the Mariners official Twitter last week and that was their response.

wrote:Meanwhile, advertising guru John Singleton is believed to have backed away from a takeover of Central Coast Mariners. The Mariners, meantime, met their wage bill last week despite ongoing cash problems. Singleton's mooted investment now looks unlikely. Club chairman Peter Turnbull declined to elaborate, saying: ''The wages were always going to be paid, it was never going to be any different.'' The Mariners, unbeaten in 11 pre-season games so far, open the season with a grand final rematch against Brisbane on October 8. Yeh its a shame , he didnt play a lot but was quite influentiall upon the game we now love and really got the midfield diamond working. Hope the club sorts out its finances to get the cash Arnie needs to get the right guys on the park next season.
