Jets_Fan & I started fawning about space in the laugh thread, but it's not really funny as it is just mindbogglingly awesome - so separate thread. Share your awesome space stuff, whether it's awe & wonder type pics, scientific papers, alien conspiracies, whatever.

Edit: whilst space is indeed f***ing cool, we do have a rule about no swearing in thread titles
EDIT: Don't use thread titles to abuse fellow forum members.

Can't believe Carl Sagan hasn't been brought up yet. This guy could read me the phone book and I'd still be mesmerised.

Haha, I love cracked and the way they write. On Titan: Quote:The atmosphere is dense enough and the gravity is weak enough that if you could construct yourself a set of wings, you could absolutely flap around through the sky, taking in the sights of that dismal, toxic wasteland. Meant to say "this series", didn't re-write. Apologies. Fun fact: former Telstra CEO Ziggy Switkowski had a degree (possibly doctorate?) in astrophysics. His successor's (Solomon "Sol" Trujillo's) name, when shortened, means "sun".

Especially articles like this, that are actually full of really interesting stuff, but they still manage to throw in a bit of humour in places, so it's a really enjoyable read.

The most I know about space comes from watching Doctor Who again and again.
Have they discovered Gallifrey yet?
