He was a nothing player for Celtic when he started there. I remember similar but not as hysterical comments on here about how Celtic had ruined him for not immediately making him their star player.

CitySam and Redcat are 100% correct , Rodgers knows football and has a pretty impressive roster to choose from , DA will have to prove himself on the training ground , day in and day out , simple fact of pro football .

But Rogic barely played in his first two seasons at Celtic (and then got loaned back to the a-league in the third). If you think that's what Arzani needs or deserves at this stage of his development, then I really don't know what to tell you.

My point is we've been here before with forum hysteria because a talented young player isnt being treated like a star from the get going and being made to earn his stripes. Rogic had a bumpy start and a slow start and a loan back here at which point everyone had written him off as a complete failure and I remember the abuse Celtic was copping on here for ruining Rogic. All those people ate humble pie and Im sure the same thing will happen here. Rogers knows what hes doing far more than any poster here. Arzani needs time to adjust to a new life in Scotland, get some fitness, maybe bulk up and develop his game and work on such as consistency, improving his final ball and decision making, fitness and work rate. Id much rather a manager ease him in and develop him gradually and make him a star rather than get dumped into the deep end have a promising start then be back in the A-League permanently as we have seen happen to far too much talent that hasnt been managed properly.

But that's the point it's just more conservatism towards our best players just because "oh he's only an Australian". Rogic should have been played from the get go at Celtic!!! And so too Arzani should be given a proper go. These players are special regardless of nationality or where they have been playing. It's fucking ridiculous that mooy had to go play championship football when he first went to city. Anyone with half a football brain in their head could see he was way above that standard but "oh no he's only Australian he needs to prove himself"! I'm fucking sick of how lightly people take our best players!!!!

It'll get nauseous if they don't find more attack. Probably why Arzani will end up in the team sooner rather than later.

He should also be at a higher club and should be in his 4th year playing mid to top epl

Seems that Callum Elder has just signed a contract extension with Leicester City which is interesting as he was left out of their Premier League squad for this season and was unable to get a loan. Instead of wasting time till January playing for the reserves he must have been tempted to end his contract and become a free agent in order to go to another team. Leicester must have convinced him he is in their future plans: https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/leicester-city-academy-graduates-callum-2039363

+xArzani won a penalty but still 3-1 down Where you find that he won the penalty? Anyway he was subbed off on 60 minutes after receiving a yellow for simulation after a good run. Maybe Brendan has him in mind for a cameo in the league cup on Thursday morning lol

No Leckie or Kruse tonight. Berlin going youth. Leckie could end up liken Haraguchi. Loaned out. Still unlikely but not impossible.

105 minutes for Milligan
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.
