4-5 on penalties to Indonesia. Well that can get thoroughly fucked. Gonna be a long World Cup campaign. Again.

The website isn't updating so they either missed all their penalties or it hasn't started. Either highly possible but it's bugging me.

Not sure if penalties or extra time but it definitely seems as if they are taking penalties. Oh god!

But in any case, an interesting example you chose. How many of those players actually featured in the Uruguay matches and 2006 WC matches? Hardly any as I recall

An hour and a half to kick off. Just to those who find these competitions irrelevant or what not. In 1997, we made the final of the FIFA U17 world cup. 7 years later we beat Uruguay to make it through to the World Cup where we made it through the group stage.

I'm very passionate about our future talent. If only I could find a stream like I did a couple years back for this comp. I will probably do the same for the AFC tournaments. Anyway, tonight at 7:30. (Y) Any idea on the best twitter feed for it? Edited by Eastern Glory: 31/8/2013 11:18:48 AM No idea as I don't have twitter :/ The socceroos football page keeps you updated well after the matches but that's about it. It's really disappointing. Futbol24 is my source but bewar they are full of ads an I am suspect it may have malware. My computer blocks over 300 ads just when I log on to the thing. Sweet Jesus  I'll have a look around No kidding, I have to tick the boxes quickly or the page crashes and you have to close the pages and reopen it to get updates. Massive first world problems right here

In the final game of the group stage Laos has beaten Singapore 2-1 which means we will be playing Indonesia in the semi finals. Vietnam will play Malaysia. Semi finals are to take place on the 31st of August. So 2 days from now.

FT: Malaysia 0-0 Indonesia This means Singapore has to beat Laos by 4 goals or more if they wish to go through to face Australia. Otherwise we will be playing Indonesia in the Semi Finals of the competition. Singapore v Laos will be in 15 minutes. Edited by theselectfew: 29/8/2013 09:28:57 PM
