In 1997, we made the final of the FIFA U17 world cup. 7 years later we beat Uruguay to make it through to the World Cup where we made it through the group stage.

The socceroos football page keeps you updated well after the matches but that's about it. It's really disappointing. Futbol24 is my source but bewar they are full of ads an I am suspect it may have malware. My computer blocks over 300 ads just when I log on to the thing.

In the final game of the group stage Laos has beaten Singapore 2-1 which means we will be playing Indonesia in the semi finals. Vietnam will play Malaysia.

Semi finals are to take place on the 31st of August. So 2 days from now.

FT: Malaysia 0-0 Indonesia

This means Singapore has to beat Laos by 4 goals or more if they wish to go through to face Australia. Otherwise we will be playing Indonesia in the Semi Finals of the competition.

Singapore v Laos will be in 15 minutes.
