I don't get number two. Why would it be needed if a game has been drawn or a winner? A winner automatically has a better goal difference therefore making number 1 applicable. Number 4 means total goals ie: traditional goal difference definition. Number 3 is the same meaning a draw automatically sees goals scored as a tie. 1,2 and 3 apply to situations where 2 or 3 or 4 teams are tied but when it is only 2 teams 2&3 don't break the tie. For a team example Teams A & B draw 0-0, A & C draw 1-1 and B & C draw 2-2. A, B and C all defeat (or lose to) Team D to create a 3 way tie. Rankings based on the 3 matches between the 3 teams would be Team C 1st (0 GD between A,B,C but 3 goals scored in those games) then Team B 2nd (0 GD, 2 goals scored) then Team C (O GD, only 1 goal scored).

A lot of locals were at this game. Not even the ol' "Ohhhhh Nippon!, Nippon, Nippon, Nipponnnn Hai Hai Hai Hai" It's funny the last game they had in Brisbane they sang that all night and were quite loud, tonight I barely heard them at all. yeah i was really disappointing, because i knew the iraqi fans were up to it and if the japan fans offered more i thought the iraqis would match it. I was really hoping a goal for iraqi which never came. T'was on in Newcastle! ...not in cessnock :-k

If Jordan can manage an upset against Japan, then the tiebreaker will be all over the place. Might it come down to goals scored. Iraq beat Jordan, Japan beat Iraq, Jordan beat Japan. GD is similar and Iraq should get 4 past Palestine.

Honda is amazing live, would just stroll around not caring but every touch and pass was great.
I thought the suncorp pitch wasn't too bad when i was at the stadium, but looking at the highlights it looks bad haha.

Was thinking wtf i knew it hit the post, but its funny how many people go along with his bull shit. Dad believed every word of it. Never trust anything he says, he did retract his statement though lol From my view all the way down the other end of the stadium i though the keeper saved it. BUT that was a huge miss by honda, best build up play of the night. Would have come away with the game after that. Now im a little miffed how both teams played, japan did enough. Iraq had no intensity, you are 1-0 down you are giving japan trouble but no im going to lie down for a bit.

Japan do seem to have dropped off a bit, I wonder if this is an attempt to conserve energy or if they are genuinely struggling a bit the with the heat and humidity. Mattee. You'd have to put a stat down as the temp wouldn't ya ? Honda is drenched Match Centre wise ? clearly a major factor. ALl Asian games should have this

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.
