If Iraq could put a decent ball in from the set piece they could potentially trouble Japan. But each one has been really poor.

Japan do seem to have dropped off a bit, I wonder if this is an attempt to conserve energy or if they are genuinely struggling a bit the with the heat and humidity.

Went to the game, holy shit Japanese fans are quiet.

A lot of locals were at this game.

From my view all the way down the other end of the stadium i though the keeper saved it. BUT that was a huge miss by honda, best build up play of the night. Would have come away with the game after that. Now im a little miffed how both teams played, japan did enough. Iraq had no intensity, you are 1-0 down you are giving japan trouble but no im going to lie down for a bit.

No. 15 right? yeah i thought he was class, should of had him as the left winger because no. 6 was hopeless.

Honda is amazing live, would just stroll around not caring but every touch and pass was great.

I thought the suncorp pitch wasn't too bad when i was at the stadium, but looking at the highlights it looks bad haha.

This. No# 17 is also a quality player. Kagawa was everywhere! Honda looked tired, but the young boy did a good job on him.

It's funny the last game they had in Brisbane they sang that all night and were quite loud, tonight I barely heard them at all.

yeah i was really disappointing, because i knew the iraqi fans were up to it and if the japan fans offered more i thought the iraqis would match it. I was really hoping a goal for iraqi which never came.

If Jordan can manage an upset against Japan, then the tiebreaker will be all over the place. Might it come down to goals scored.
Iraq beat Jordan, Japan beat Iraq, Jordan beat Japan. GD is similar and Iraq should get 4 past Palestine.

I don't get number two. Why would it be needed if a game has been drawn or a winner? A winner automatically has a better goal difference therefore making number 1 applicable. Number 4 means total goals ie: traditional goal difference definition. Number 3 is the same meaning a draw automatically sees goals scored as a tie.
