Every time i see Popovich play i am impressed by him.  Would do well in the A-League for sure and can hopefully break through in Germany.

Looks very - 'powerful' - for lack of a better word. Very tall, reasonably quick and likes to charge towards the goal. Good qualities in a striker.

Goin off Soccerway it seems the Qatai ref and assistant refs have been guest referees in Switzerland. Wish the FFA had the ability to conceive of and achieve something like that.

Despite the goals, Blackwood didn't show much more at this level than A-league level.

The commentators said Deng was a stand out apart from the own goal, which I disagree with. He made several mistakes that could have been costly.

I think Izzo and Da Silva were the clear stand outs.

Da Silva, Izzo and Cowburn stood out for me.

Thought we were abit slow to react from what I saw in the second half which apparently was chalk and cheese with the first half

Deng put in a brilliant pass to put De Silva through, but otherwise the defending was strange through his positioning and 1v1 duels.

I thought Wilson was the best for us, he's positioning to win the ball through individually or collectively was sound and most times kept possession well to recycled it to the likes of Mauk and De Silva.

Could have been more through Bugahiar's poor finishing, otherwise good performance with the ball but in the 2nd half average one without the ball, a couple of times we looked so open at the back when we lead at 3-1. 

But most importantly in any tournament start is to win the first game so they did the first step, onto Vietnam next. 

Didnt our refs do a swap with J-League refs there a couple of years ago. J-League is a bigger and better league than Switzerland.
