Why is 3 arrests at a football a riot yet at others sports deemed good behaviour ?
Im willing to bet there was arrests at thousands of nightclubs around the country last night

Take your pick. Two Brisbane Lions players were recently charged with rape. That was literally the AFL's response to the charges. Quote:The court was told this morning two of the accused were “quality football players”. ... Mr O’Sullivan then described the incident as a “youthful prank”. The way the media treats certain sports is a joke. They weren't Lions players at all. Talk about a media beat up.

They just spend all their spare time training with the team.

Tin foil makes a comment. You're 100% right I have been mistaken. Punch-ons, vandalism and theft are part of the wonderful cornucopia of the Australian football experience. Carry on then.

I don't know what goes through your head, and if the post was misinterpreted then I don't know. It's just with your levels of abuse and personal stacks on people it's hard to tell. It's odd that someone that has so much to say about misbehavior is so angry. Just chill, we're all in the same gang.

Hammers no doubt brought by the tradies in the RBB. Straight from work to the game.

Why can't you just go to a game and not wreck the place. If you wouldn't do it to your own home don't do it to someone else's. Grow up and stop being gooses.

As if the 100 cunts who get kicked out of the cricket for getting blind and fighting etc went there without knowing they were going to get blind and be a fuckwit.

Becoming a weekly occurance, flares, fights, violence, property damage, organized brawls....only a matter of time an innocent person is seriously injured or even worse.

Surprised to hear of that many people getting charged at the game... I was down in the corner right next to the cove and there was absolutely no issues there at all besides from one or two jumping on to the pitch when Ninkovic scored, and they were very quickly ushered back into the crowd with some help from a mate or two and the security... but there was no issue there. I saw on the screen some WSW fans getting escorted out but only one or two? It was pretty clean from where I sat tbh

Supporters just like you are the majority, but when a select group of people are bringing hammers and bolts to match day is when it all starts falling down. Some kid is going to lose an eye from a mis thrown projectile and BAM! games behind closed doors with no crowd. TV deal will be worth less. League will become toxic for sponsors, but hey, at least a few kids can feel like a European ultra.

I actually do think someone will eventually get killed, (it's only a matter of time before it happens in a stadium or nearby) the police will come out in force, the "ultra" wannabes will take that as a challenge and it'll be on for young and old. It's ok though because TSF will still be there saying all of this happens at the AFL and the cricket so really there's nothing to worry about.
