They should start an A-League Fight Club. Something about not one marketing dollar spent...

Much stricter ticketing arrangements must be made for the WSW fans to ensure they don't sneak these wankers in. Maybe a families only policy or something.
The RBB must cause about 90% of all friction between the clubs . The solution to stopping the headlines is removing the RBB. It would then be up to the less active WSW fans to create the atmosphere for their team.
The WSW will surely be sent a bill for the damage their fans caused. The WSW should then add on a fine to all members of the RBB to pay the fine. They've got the credit card details. Too hard to identify individuals when they don't sit in the seats they bought. So they all get punished. that last suggestion is something special. Made me laugh also. Clearly not thought out and based on pure emotion. Probably got the shits coz his boyfriend stole his lipstick or something.

Did anyone out of the hundreds who post on 442 witness any first hand accounts of violence. Not google or media reports, but first hand. Surely someone must have seen something with all the rampant violence going on?
Saw nothing to concern us, we went in from the Paddo end, my 2 kids and a mate, had a great night despite a crap performance by our lot but we bagged the points late - happy ending in another way :d We left the same way, apart from one goose looking to stir the pot screaming you stole our tifo but we won - tbh even I would have smacked him one if my kids weren't there to shut him up saw no other issues at all.

I get his point though because football supporters generally operate as a collective it is easier for the media to take the 'fan violence angel'. It is nonsense but the A-league doesn't need the negative publicity.

Walked back to Central for the first time ever due to congestion, and never seen any trouble. A couple of boozed up neds screaming in the face of the Wanderers fans ( did feel like giving them a slap )was the worst i seen. Nothing at Central either. TBF i have seen very little trouble post match at any of the Derbies.

Didn't see any violence at all. Or any suggestion of it. The only bad thing I saw was individuals from both sets of supporters being forced onto the road and getting hit because there no where else to go. There needs to be better traffic control after the match. Edited by chillbilly: 26/10/2015 11:09:11 PM

You detracted from the spectacle of a sellout derby and allowed the anti-football media to recycle the same old stereotypes and ignore the fact that anti-social behaviour is as bad, if not worse in the other codes. I hope you all fall into an open sewer and drown. This was not the image of what I witnessed on Saturday. Having said that, I deliberately didn't take part in the Cove march so I could get into the ground before the WSW hordes had arrived from Central. And I especially caught the bus back to Central after the game so as not to be confronted by casuals out for sky blue souvenirs. Had ZERO issues all day or night as a result. Drank post game at the REH near Central where both sets of fans got on fine. We all ended up enjoying watching Chelsea lose with the West Ham supporters club. =p~ What I'm trying to say is that if you are street-smart & deliberately don't look for trouble, you will NOT find it, even at a Sydney derby. I had zero problems on the night & saw my team win in more than stirring fashion. It may antagonise the police & annoy people around them, but the lighting of flares (whether you like it or not) does NOT constitute violence in my books. Um, yeah if you don't think your club will receive a bill from the SCG trust for the vandalism then you're a little delusional. Whether the WSW get sick of paying fines for your damages and start passing it on to those who cause the damage is another matter, and one which they might take up with you sooner rather than later. If not this time, then next derby.

On a better note, the more we pay, the less Wanderers tickets we're inclined to sell next time.
WOLLONGONG WOLVES FOR A-LEAGUE EXPANSION!
