@ Loki
No you don't. But you don't end up spending the last 3 seasons in turkeys second division if you're any good either?
I don't dislike this guys CV - at a young age he clearly had talent, played aged representation football for Holland, and played at a decent league level.
There'll be a reason he then disappeared into europes backwater but the HAL offers him redemption like so many before him. Let's see

Could be the next beister could be the next FBK, You don't get to 155 games in the Eredivisie if you're abjectly shit at football.

Underwhelming doesn't begin to describe this signing. Might be the next Max Beister?
BUT he's not coming in as a marquee so doesn't warrant the same level of CV scrutiny - providing he's fit and has the right attitude it comes down to how well the coaches can work with him

http://www.goal.com/en-au/news/the-covert-agent-melbourne-victory-sign-dutch-winger-leroy/1n3l29ebo0o751wcywegwta0o3Apparently we've signed Leroy George. 30 yr old Dutch / Surinamese winger. Looks fairly underwhelming but Muscat and Trimmers have rarely let us down with out visa signings.

+x+xToo late. NT active area is done, people are moving to GA. those that have moved to G/A area from North End area have been burned and backfired now according to Ticketmaster link for the derby in round 2 according to the seating map there won't be any G/A available for this game as it must be a fully ticketed event. LINK: http://s1.ticketm.net/tm/en-au/tmimages/venue/maps/au2/80337s.gif Lot they've got past this before for other all ticketed events by just getting everyone to buy in the same area. Regardless the game won't sell out and there will be inevitably be space at the back of level 3. They might even just stand somewhere behind the rails on level at this rate.

+x+x+x+xThat is unbelievable news yeah.. I wouldn't expect a miracle So movement between bays now allowed again, banners etc allowed also; is it the members only part that fails to fall in line with previous grievances / North End expectations and wishes? tbh I can't remember exactly what the main issues were. Rome wasn't built in day and the north end is starting from a clean slate. So, if I was was your average atmosphere starved vuckhead i'd be holding back the celebrations till the end of the season. Still a step in the right direction.

+xGood news if the atmosphere returns at Victory games 👍As for player signings, or lack of, the rest of the comp can't figure out whether to laugh or be afraid there's some cunning Muscat plan being hatched??? I'm crying so you must be laughing!

+x+x+x+x+xDon't even want to think about how many games we'll be missing Troisi and Millsy for now..... Especially when we aren't exactly signing players like the rest of the competition. How many players do have for the senior squad now? 15? Would have expected a signing or two, season is only 4 weeks away. Players need time to adapt to the city and system. It's been quiet.. even on the rumour front. Literally heard nothing, except for a few weeks back the rumour on Nico Martinez' brother. 16 senior listed players. Not good especially with ACL and Aus matches coming up. Would have expected at least a couple of Australian squad players. Yeah, really not good enough tbh. But of course we don't know what is going on behind the scenes, which is good I guess from the clubs perspective but makes it frustrating for us fans. We want rumours!

+x+x+x+x+xReally like the away kit, certainly unique. Not sure it needs the orange trim on the collar though, not sure where that's come from? It's a small bit of recognition for our feeder club. Membership pack arrived today too, fridge magnet included. Good to see they've listened to the important feedback from last season. Victory members demanded a fridge magnet? We used to have them, with the fixture on it, but they changed it for a couple season with a pen that had a little roll out fixture. I actually like the pen lol. Evidently I was in the minority as people wanted the fridge magnet back. Oh ok, that actually sounds great. http://www.melbournevictory.com.au/video/an-important-addition/1vaf4m1aiclx41d145ief2c76r

Looking at highlights from last nights friendly has confirmed for me that Ingham is a much better option than Austin. His positioning and distribution is much better, would rather him start if we don't sign another winger.
