+xAnyone got membership for this season? I'm stalling as usual. Wondering if worth getting an NT or just go general admission. I wouldnt go NT personally due to it going to be non existent. The back row crew are going to be in the corner (GA) for the next season

+x+xI know there is still a long time until the season starts but I wouldn't mind a new signung or two. We have one marquee and two foreign spots open right? Just poach from other clubs like you normally do. by my count we have 6 players in our squad that started at other clubs. I'm not sure what the stats are, but I would suggest that is lower than most other clubs.

+xAtleast Berisha fucked off Kosovo or we'd have no attacking third. Hadn't heard about that so I looked it up and found this (translated from Albanian): "Monday, 12 June 2017 Exclusive: Besart Berisha leaves Kosovo, calls Bunjaku a great loser
Besart Berisha will no longer play with Kosovo. This is his decision after the match with Turkey. In an interview with Indeksonline, Berisha has shown the reasons for this decision."As Albert Bunjaku I will never play with Kosovo, he is my weakest coach in the career I have known, I have come to play for Kosovo the hatri of the people, the fans I love, but Bunjaku It is not my habit to criticize the coaches, but I owe it to Kosovo because it does not leave a trainer like He does not know if he played football or where he was a coach but he is destroying Kosovo He is trying to play a defense system by having the team attacked Believe me that Kosovo has a fantastic squad I have known many stars here , There are highly qualified players, but with Bunjaku we all feel undervalued, "Berisha said. Asked by Indsksonline about who should be the new Kosovo coach, Besi has an answer. "We need some coaches who know how to make tactics, know how to motivate players, for example, an experienced Croatian or German," Berisha said. The Australian football star has said that at the moment he leaves Bunjaku, he will return to play for Kosovo again."I do not want to look at Bunjaku anymore, he has ignored me as a footballer without giving any reason for me, but some managers from Europe and Asia were in the stadium last night and could not believe that there is no place for Kosovo player in football Good in Asia and Australia, "Berisha said. Regarding Berisha's future in Australia, Besi has given us some details."I have offers from Turkey, Germany, China, Spain, South Korea and Dubai. I will review all the offers and make a decision," Besart Berisha concludes."^^^That last bit surprises me, I thought he was still contracted with us. Haven't heard any talk of him leaving

Don't think they can - AFC sets the kickoff times I thought? no, I don't think so. pretty sure one of the Brisbane home ACL games kicked off at 7pm a few months ago. the club did a survey during the year and asked these questions. that's why the Geelong game is now at 5:30pm on a Saturday... because that's what the fans wanted.

Great news if true, him and Valeri would be the best midfield duo in the league by far. Just need a pacey foreigner filling that attacking mid role and the vuck are back in town guns blazing.

+xI dunno, would like him there but for 800k? That's too older DMs and a lot of $$$ I guess the only thing that I would like to know is if Milligan qualifies for the guest marquee rule - if he does, then no dramas. If he doesn't however, which in turn chews up our valuable marquee spot, then I do question the wisdom. Surely his profile is large enough to qualify - he captained the Socceroos at the Confeds Cup, not to mention having a large profile in the A-League already.

This would work against him I would imagine. He would be a maaaaybe if he hadn't already played here, but the prestige isn't there due to him already playing in the HAL. Not saying it's right (or wrong), but it's how it is.

Milligan marquee, and a foreign CAM.
Too easy. The spine will be mostly sorted with quality non visa players (Thomas, Donachie,Williams,Valeri,Milligan,Bes).
Muscat's recruitment has almost always be spot on for foreigners, he'll find (or probably already has found) a quality player to fill the gap of Troisi. We'e spent two years trying to find a Milligan replacement and never truly challenged because of it.

Broxham Williams Donachie Geria Thomas Ingham, Nigro, Deng, ? , Acton Some real "give it all you have" players there. Would like an AM so Marco can go wide.

AM and a left back are top priorities right now, Then the brox can fill in any injuries/bookings. Hoping to see some more transfers before Brisbane away, would love to win the FFA cup again.

Would also guess that Milligan's move to England stalling means we probably wont sign Mauk (and hence why all those strong links seemingly died off immediately).

We are looking dead set average at the minute, Muscat would want to pull some quality foreigners out of his date, if we are to get anywhere near it. It's like looking at 2014 , getting back players from a title winning side, I'm yet to see those Victory signings, who have so excited us in the past. This season so far and last season, the recruitment has been average and has lacked vision, we still have a while to go before the final squad is assembled, but not looking good so far.

Part of the problem is technically the clubs don't actually know what the cap is for next season. It will be at least $2.6M but the clubs have requested an increase to $2.9M. Part of the seemingly never ending negotiations. Makes it difficult to pull the trigger on some signings if the club does't know if they have an extra $300k to spend or not. Makes a big difference with such a small cap.

Has made it clear he wants t be playing regularly before the WC, hence why he came back. Although being one of NZ's best he'd probably be picked regardless of game time. Ok now I'm worried.
