Griff1, I'd love to see the big V back too. Check out the new Velez Sarsfield kits for an example of how you can do something extra with the v.

HE would be a fool to join us so late in his career he is pretty much a legend for your kind.

You guys have enough midfielders as is- Brattan, Griffiths, Caceres and McGree (probably missing one though). Unless he's happy to settle down with a multi year contract playing defence, then I could definitely see it happening.

+xHaha derby one will be interesting if he does sign for City. I don't think he would be recieved all that well if he signed with us for 549th time, let alone signing for City

His family is obviously the most important thing to him at this stage of his career, so can understand the uncertainty in moving overseas once again.
However I think it would be bad for him to come back to Melbourne, to any club. He needs to go somewhere else if he decides to stay in Aus. If he signed with CCM on marquee wages that's probably the best thing for him and his fam.

I wouldn't go so far as to say people will boo him it will more like: "Oh ok, how long till you fuck off for this time". Lol, it is good getting that coin though.

+xAnyone's foxsports stream get an ad when perth were going for a corner? . Antonis was superb Yep they cut it at that point for me. That was about when they started showing it on the main broadcast, but unless you had that open on a second monitor like I was there's no way you'd know that.

Seems like Kosta has really increased his goal scoring since he returned for a second stint with MV. I actually wouldn't mind starting the season using Kenny as a target man with JT, Kosta and Honda as our main goal scorers

Will Honda travel to Sydney for the FFA Cup tie. I hope he does as it would be a massive event for APIA. Sellout crowd, great TV ratings.

I cant imagine Honda being a draw card for the old fart italians that go for Apia lol. If Victory win and then draw heidelberg then you are talking big time event.

If those old fart Italians have watched any Serie A in the last few years then they'd know all about what a signing Honda is.

Be difficult for Berisha after being the man for so long. Even Geria is not getting much time as yet.

+xHonda just became the new head coach of Cambodia, I wonder how he does that and plays for Melbourne. "It’s understood he will hold a video conference once a week with the Cambodian team and staff from his new base in Melbourne." https://www.a-league.com.au/news/victorys-honda-lands-new-job-cambodian-national-teamAn advisory role by skype. At least it's more effort than Roy Hodgson ever put into his role with the South Coast Mariners. Good on Honda for having some goals in what he can do in football.
