I didn't see any sympathy for us when the "previous administration" left us with a Fire sale. Not that im particularly worried. I think it has actually helped us get rid of Desball players in Graham, Mbye, Kasiano and Woods but it has also cost us the chance to keep BMoz.

I'm thinking Corey Oates is a good chance as I think we are highly motivated.

It is rare to win this kind of battle against the Broncos, but never say never.

So if you go for the hunch that Oates is being signed mainly as a forward, the other signing must be a back.

We are looking for someone who can play in the centres, if they also cover the role of a running 5/8, and have a kicking game that is a bonus.

The guy that played 6 for the Dragons against us is the kind of player i have in mind.

But if I'm being honest, I have no clue who we are signing, it is just fun to speculate.

Oates has already knocked us back. So unless we've upgraded the offer, and I hope we haven't gone down the path of throwing more $$, then he won't be coming.

I'd guess they're players from teams in the semis. because there's no other reason I can think of not to announce them than giving them headspace out of courtesy.

I'd like it to be Marty Tapau and Ben Barba (or Holmes) especially if the NRL can dig up some SC dirt on the Sharks.....

Personally I would not like to see Barba return.... (he just might get home sick again). Plus we should continue the no-dickhead policy. As for the SC issues, the Sharks are obviously one of the teams on the "No compliance required" list.

To the tech guys out there....I have a problem……
My Outlook (which I use for work) seems to have lost all emails from mid afternoon today all the way back to April

I seem to have access to all mail prior to April and also the email I got at 3:54pm today but cant find any of the emails in between.

I did a shutdown and restart of Outlook and nothing changed. Even my wife's emails have been lost on same domain account.
They were visible on my mobile phone for about half an hour and then also disappeared.

Any idea what it could be and how I can go about getting then back? (Please don't say archive as I don't think I have it setup)

Hi Anna certainly feels like a dream . I was expecting two or three years of humiliation not this superfast rebirth of the Bulldog fundamentals …………..ok ok yes yes early days but still we were slitting our wrists a few months ago 

Ok figured it out.
Called the web host and it turns out I reached my 2Gb quota so it blocked out, yet instead of giving me a warning or notice it just removed 6months worth of work related emails! I nearly died.

Anyway.... increased my quota and 1 email account has recovered in full but other still blocked out. Hope it's back by tomorrow.

Computers...... you become reliant on them and when they stuff you up it's like your own kid has tried to kill you....

You're doing it wrong.
First get a cloud email account like gmail or whatever. The one your ISP gives you would also work for this, but with more intermittent problems due to less staff, slower maintenance & more downtime along the way, hence suggesting gmail.
Then get an email app on your PC, Laptop, Phone. Set these to retrieve emails from gmail but set the app to 'leave msg's on server/not delete'.
Gmail & similar cloud accounts will only give you so much quota before starting to delete from the oldest msg's stored there. That's OK because your PC wont delete the oldest emails you've already downloaded off the cloud account (unless you tell it to in the settings).
You should also backup the emails already downloaded onto your PC email app from time to time in case you need something. Just don't store the backup on the same harddrive as your email app.
If/when your PC/laptop harddrive does crash & you lose everything on it, once replaced you can restore the backup emails you saved elsewhere & also get all the recent emails back from the cloud, specifically the ones since your last backup.
Last time I had to go through it (& it's been way more than once now) I think I had 6 or 12 months of emails still on the cloud (maybe they went further back), but with the backup of already downloaded emails, I think the emails on my PC go back to 2010, which is handy now & again.

I originally and still do use gmail for my work, but since creating a work domain email  I started using it more and more so it looks more professional. 

It's the domain one that has the problems. I received a very poor response overnight from the crazy domains support team suggesting "they cannot trace POP set up or deletion of emails in the logs". They then suggested the possibility they were deleted a while ago. Can you believe it? I am outraged. I literally actioned some of those emails during the course of the day and previous days. The original emails from my clients appear as chain emails on my Sent emails (the ones I responded to) yet they dont appear in the Inbox...

I bet if I call the AFP they'll retrieve them in a flash...

Hoppa, Holland, Montoya, Bergamin, Lewis and Harper are the current options.

By 2020 I'm guessing Harper will be the best centre at the club.

But they are looking to sign a forward and a back, I expect the back will be able to play in the centres.
 

With Broncos releasing today Tom Opacic to the Cowboys, even thought Tom signed a new deal with Broncos 2 weeks ago.... tells me that Oates shall be staying with Bronco’s.
