+x+x+xThank god I don’t have to hear another Gus Gould story on all the players he’s picked up from the bush for the Panthers.... It reminds me of a time a young bloke came up to me at school & all his classmates saying numerous times he’s from Wagga & is the nephew of cricketing great Bill O’Reilly. This young bloke would go on to be school captain..... and that’s where it all ended for him "I've seen Penrith come back from this far behind 10 times" "I've seen Penrith come back from this far behind 15 times" "I've seen Penrith come back from this far behind 20 times" Thank god the game finished by then. I have no beef with the penalty try given to Melbourne...as the rule is fairly specific I don't believe any one bar Gould could...but then again I didn't take out a second mortgage to back the Panthers. Steve, it was excruciating listening to him at times.
Yesterday’s game remindeded me of the 2012 GF..... Bellamy nullified all our threats on that day as he did yesterday.
A great coach..... I always find Gould favours one team in his call and given his reputation as a punter I assume that is the team he has his money on.

+xCan we finally cut the BS and have the TV broadcasters just come out and confirm that the ratings numbers are calculated based on either a secret device inside people's TV's that returns channel feedback or they calculate it based on signal strength and loss. Dont sit there and tell us that you have a significant amount of people on a survey system and you extrapolate figures. That's a toss. TVs spying???... No way!!!...

+x+xThese lap of honours look fun. When do we get to do one? Haven't you done one? Dman, Villi and I consider them to be preseason training. A mate of mine reckons he played in a team that was that bad they did a lap of honour when they won the toss.

+x+xNo. He fist pumped too many people. I think bubble restrictions went out the window today.... Depends on who he bumped.. if they were in the ‘bubble’ then no issues... He did say when Alana interviewed him ‘they’re all over there but I can’t touch them’... Origin and plays til he’s 40 retiring on the back of a threepeat... He bumped with kids in the crowd. Not sure if they were family bubble kids or others.

+x+xTyrone May.... the worst player on ground. Actually the worst selection in history!! Luai and Kikau for all the vaunting all year were both schit...and the former did not take on the defence at all. For the yobbo Penrith fans who sat behind us in the last game of the year....you beauty Where the fekk was James Tamou all game? I saw him in the first 10mins and last 10mins.

+x+xThat strip by Api for the Cam Smith try and the intercept try were critical. That's footy, you need to put it together on the day. But honestly the Ref and Video put the Panthers back into the game big time .. I thought the way he was going half Storm would been sin binned ... Probably had to so they can keep the interest up. Good fightback from Panthers though. Just goes to show that they can score from anywhere. Very clever from Cleary to refuse the goalkick. Cool head on the kid. Will be a top player for many years. What happened to the bubble with the reporters so close to Cleary, JAC etc?

+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+xI dont remember a team coming back from 16 points down in a GF..... And not against a Melb team with Cam Smith That's all she wrote. Nothing gone Penrith way but they are their worst enemies. Penrith diffused with all the decisions going against them. Storm have mastered the decisions going their own way last decade or so .. Bulldogs use to do it in the 80’s... Truth is, the decisions are pretty much spot-on. Only contentious ones IMO are Kikau's pass into Kaufusi hand called knock on and the leg pull on Brenko Lee which was 6 again for afew seconds and then called penalty under no advantage. The rest are Penrith fekk ups. Penalty try - unfortunate but correct. Mansour try - obstruction with zero doubt Smith try - clearly played at by Api and play-on to Smith Also Storm doing to Panthers what they did to us in 2012 but on a larger scale. They get you into a panic mode then you try things which falls into their play .. A plan b is always required My thoughts exactly. That day, Sisa Waqa rushed on our back pass to Barba and shut it down about 4 times. A couple of bounces of ball against us and it finished us off. Here, the Storm are rushing the Panthers and shutting them down. The inability of Edwards to play 2nd 5/8th or Api to kick well is hindering Penrith from mixing it up. Melb too smart. Always have been. Hopefully Trent learns from this .,, Not really coaching errors, just young players making mistakes. Great coaching by Bellamy.... every single Penrith players that’s a threat has been nullified tonight Api, Cleary, Luai etc all quiet Mistakes from Api and Kickau a factor.
