+xDon't worry. Millions are streaming. We just don't know it. we really could do with some streaming figures... to either put our minds at easy or to kill ourselves.

These ratings are unbelievably bad.
For our top teams - MV, WSW, SFC - to be rating in the 20s and 30s, that means we are basically invisible.
Kayo or no kayo, all other sports have digital viewers too. My god expansion, P/R, no salary cap cannot come quick enough.

Its almost a relief when a game tips into the 40s. Must admit i didnt expect the decline to be across the board like that.

FTA figures?
We’re now on Commerical FTA so they must be up around the 200-300k mark.

My son watches Peppa Pig and Fireman Sam reruns like there’s no tomorrow.
Valid strategy to adopt for the FFA!

+xMy son watches Peppa Pig and Fireman Sam reruns like there’s no tomorrow. Valid strategy to adopt for the FFA! The difference is the protagonist always wins If the FFA controlled Fireman Sam then the fire would win to make things more interesting

+xFTA figures? We’re now on Commerical FTA so they must be up around the 200-300k mark. The problem with being on commercial FTA is that it's only one game. There is simply no saturation. Other codes have full saturation with all of the games being televised. It's the main reason all of the reality tv and sitcom re-runs do so well, there is mass saturation. 90mins of football a week on a Saturday night on a non-HD channel is just useless. Personally i'd rather have all the games on FTA with a 30-45min delayed telecast than one live game.

It's the main reason all of the reality tv and sitcom re-runs do so well, there is mass saturation They do well because people are interested in watching them. And they are given seemingly endless reruns because they are popular The problem for football hasnt changed - how do we get people to sit through 90 minutes of the Australian game Maybe they dont know about the A League yet. Maybe they havent seen it. Maybe they have missed it. Maybe for the last 14 years this league has been tucked away in the furthest corner of the furthest room... Showing something on TV that people have made a decision to ignore is not going to spike demand. At least every network who didn't bid for the A League thought so

Victory and City games on FTA in Melbourne. SFC and WSW games on FTA in Sydney, AU games on FTA in Adelaide, etc. This is how you reach more people.

NO GREAT WALL A-LEAGUE IN THE PAY TV TOP 20 Despite three of what was hyped by Sydney1834 as 'important' matches, the Australian public has laughed in the face of the flat earthers. Cricket (#1 sixers v hurricanes: 169,000) dominated the top 5, meanwhile American dad repeats rounded off the top 20 at 33k. For those interested, 442's fav king Peppa "maddog" pig topped the charts of the multi channel at 184k. I await the apology.
