Interesting question coming out of the US : if you were a Russian agent of interference and you wanted to surreptitiously support the candidate who would do the most damage to the USA, would you go for Trump or would you go for Bernie???

Well according ti Enzo there'd be a full scale civil war if the Dems are elected so Bernie.

How did such a meek little beta like Bloomberg amass that fortune? Being on the stage was the best thing that could've happened for Bernie, it's just emblematic of everything that he's been railing against. Hearing explicitly socialist talking points on a national American debate stage been cheered was amazing as well.

Agree 100%.

Love how the crowd groaned when Bloomberg tried to smear Bernie as a commie as well.

He was a Republican at one point.

His ideology is far more in line with them rather than the left so Idk why he even is running as a democrat.

Yeah sure is.  Was just saying that exact thing to the boy.

Surely the first thing the opposition would do when they pick a winner was run an ad just showing clips of the losers slagging him/her off.

Warren took Mike apart.  Funny stuff.

President Trump’s approval rating among small business owners hits all-time high of 64%, survey reveals

This CNBC|SurveyMonkey Small Business Survey for the first quarter 2020 — which includes responses from more than 2,100 small business owners — was conducted the same week (Feb. 3–Feb. 10) as Trump’s third State of the Union address, his impeachment acquittal and the Iowa caucuses. The percentage of small business owners who say they “strongly approve” of how Trump is handling his job reached 47%, also a new high; it had never been above 40% in previous surveys.

A recent Gallup poll found Trump’s job-approval rating had risen to 49%, his highest in Gallup polling since he took office in 2017

Among Republican small business owners responding the the survey, 43% said “jobs and the economy” matter the most to them right now — an issue that falls to 24% among Independents and 15% among Democrats

Trump was in trouble a few months ago. Unfortunately for the Dems the more the American people see of the Democrats the more he looks a good bet. At the moment (given very sparse data). It looks like Dems 270-268 in the Electoral College - but all the momentum is with DJT and by November he should sail in.

The Dems are stuffed with their current candidates.

Bernie is popular with the progressives but 2/3 of America is conservative and is an Independent running as a Democrat
Biden is uninspiring
Bloomberg is another version of Trump but without the communication skills
Buttigieg will not be elected by a conservative America
Warren is too far behind Bernie to be the progressive candidate but has the same problem as Bernie

TBH - the supposed "nightmare scenario of a contested convention" may be their only chance to draft a contender that has a chance to win.

Did you even read the article you posted lol? The people were surveyed were small business owners.

Also the question they were asked was “What matters to them the most” not whether they care about those issues or not. The article also says that most dem leaning small business owners care about healthcare the most. This doesn’t mean they don’t care about jobs or the economy at all.

Based on what?

If you look at Bernie’s policy positions, the polls show they are overwhelmingly popular. Here’s just a few examples.

70% of Americans support Medicare for all.

A majority of voters support free college and forgiving student debt.

Green new deal is popular in swing districts.

Sanders is probably the only legitimate chance the Dems have against Trump but the establishment will backdoor their way in with Bloomberg. If that happens, Trump will most likely get 4 more years.

Trump will get 4 more years no matter who they put up.  He's $1.50 with the bookies at the moment.
