+xyou know what I think of that one eyed eggball flogg. To be fair to him mate, he has done everything, fighting tooth and nail, to benefit the club he loves. Collingwood has done whatever they have done DESPITE the other AFL clubs around them and the AFL as an organisation ... They want something, they go out and get it... I just wish we had clubs strong enough and with as much clout behind them in soccer. Dont worry about "uniting" all of football, that will NEVER happen in a million years in Australia, I just hope that 1-2 clubs down here become strong enough to fight for a fair share of the pie.

The game had it all, missed penalty, early lead by the travelling team, 1 hour interruption due a spectacular storm (great viewing from undercover in the stand with a beer and souv btw), chasing the equaliser until the 91st minute (so cool and collected Rossco, great goal champion) and then in ET THAT goal by Marco ..... my oh my what a hit son..... Will be remembering that one for a while mate.... +xNice one....big few weeks. Preston got promoted so two great clubs head to head next season Really disappointed in Northcote, completely bottled it. Would have preferred facing Preston in a national comp next year but that doesnt seem to be happening.... As for Northcoete, eh un expected losses to Brunswick and North Geelong would have been enough to help them go up...

Can't ask for much more than that in a week :) Dockerty Cup, Knock out our first Aleague opponents to progress to round of 16 in Aussie Cup and then secure the Premiership against Avondale (despite yet ANOTHER appallingly reffed match) ... I dont know how some of the lads lasted for so long.... VAMOS HELLAS...... Two more titles to win this year.

 Magical nights at Lakeside keep rolling on :) Great, night, decent crowd, a spirited effort from weary players to keep a pro side out of the game. So proud lads, so so proud. I'm not in the country at the moment, so not up to current info, but why isn't the game played at either Oakleigh or Souths home ground? Dockerty Cup is supposed be played at a neutral venue according to the brainiacs at FV however, as Oakleighs ground is being renovated at the moment and Oakleigh has been playing "home games" at the Home of the Matildas that seems to be a good enough home ground advantage for someones wife...... Makes sense really to have a final on a Saturday, which would draw 5-6 thousand if it was played at Lakeside, played at a ground with 2000 seats ... but then NOTHING surprises me anymore with FV. Ah okay. Crazy to think when i was playing there, the ground was trash, could barely even see the scoreboard haha. Hopefully the renovations come out nice. As for the game, I won't make it, haven't been to many games this year either, so I'm not sure who wins this one. Oakleigh seem to have a habit of beating south in finals though haha. Best of luck to both teams. lol .... despite the Rivaldo-esque red card to Max, we still managed to get the job done :) ... Poor CT didnt get a chance to use the dark arts much...
