+x+x+xwhy is it so hard to do your pro license? Does the AFC Professional Coaching Diploma mean anything? does Ange have it? Uefa don't do reciprocaticals for other qualifications. It's the reason why non Europeans don't really coach in europe Should be FIFA mandating these licenses but UEFA seem to have alot of power on the table. Uefa Is the most powerful of the confederations. They ate the most powerful block. Hence why the world cup is usually held in the northern hemisphere and when it gets held in say Asia and or Africa the uproar about not being in the time zone

+x+xNeeds to be able to handle the pressure both on and off the field - More so the stuff off, than that of the stuff on. A few things that have happened to previous managers and players of Celtic are.... Assaulted in public, including being punch while in a car waiting for the lights to change colour. Bullets being sent to homes (Lennon even had a bomb sent to his house), death threats sent to not only manager(s) and players, but their families too. Houses and property damaged and the likes. The new manager needs to fix up our defence first and foremost, followed closely by rebuilding a playing squad that needs at a bare minimum 5 - 6 players who are good enough to go straight into the starting line-up. They will also need to be able to work closely with the new 'Director of Football', as it is believed that the 'Director of Football' will be in charge of player(s) recruitment. Needs to hit the ground running, both with 'wins' and 'style' as there won't be any/much time given to whoever comes in. Success is all that counts. I've probably forgotten a few things 🤔 Hey Bhoyo, Angie's a fiesty one with the media, he will defend the Celts come hell or high water - I could be mistaken but he was a boyhood Panathinaikos fan and our Scottish brothers at the Hoops have always had a soft spot in "our" hearts. It's not so much from the Media (though they can be rough) - As for the tabloid's?? A completely different story as most are scum. It's all the other shit that happens off the pitch (and sometimes on) that [insert name here] will have to deal with, and some of the time it can get real toxic. Another issue [insert name here] will have is results are expected STRAIGHT AWAY - If [insert name here] needs/wants time to implement their own style of play, then it needs to be done fast, as winning and winning the League are the main things that matters. Yes winning is a must, but so is playing the " Celtic way" when possible - which isn't to different to that of "Ange-ball" (from what I can remember of it) so that should help Ange out if he is the one we sign. There has been many great players and managers that have/had struggle with the pressure that comes with football in Glasgow, as it is a beast like no other. If [insert name here] can handle that pressure, along with getting the results the fans demand then they will be fine, and have the backing of the fans. On the other hand, if [insert name here] does not get the results straight away, then [insert name here] will then have another issue to deal with, and that is the very vocal fan base (sometimes to vocal) against him. With all that said and done, whoever comes in, Ange included, will have my support and the backing of most of the Celtic family too - if things are done correctly🙂 I (along with a lot of Celtic supporters) actually put most of the blame on the board, not Lennon nor coaching staff. We also need to find a better scotting/recruitment team, as we have fail miserably since we lost John Park. ----- As for having a soft spot for the Bhoys, if you ever get a chance (once COVID is under control, and the stands are full again) you should go watch a game or two at Paradise 🙂 If you are lucky enough (or unlucky) to be in Glasgow when Celtic plays the 'other lot', hopefully you won't be part/one of the statistics that makes up the 900% increase to the Emergency departments when these two teams play each other. If you get yourself a ticket to the match enjoy it. Take it all in. It's truly magical 🙂

You're taking the piss right?? BB, (insert name the boy from Oz) IF the outside pressures get to their usual noise and all, he bites back/emotional. I doubt he'll handle it imo.

+xHasn’t Kevin Muscat got his UEFA licence? Could employe him as his staff to take training until he gets his approval. Kevin’s worked under Ange and knows abit about Scottish Football win win! Would be hilarious if Ange took Muscat and Craig Moore, both have worked under Ange in the past. Celtic forum saying that he may take Ontong and Hutchinson with him. From what i gather fans would rather Ange bring his own lot than have what's already there.

According to the Times, a deal has been agreed with Yokohama. He will sign early next week. John Hutchinson and Shaun Ontong will join him in Glasgow. A year ago, they were assistants at Western United and Kerala Blasters respectively. Talk about moving up in the world.

Muscat's getting a mention on a few sites now... Could be nothing. Haven't seen anything about Cklamovski, no sign of him suddenly leaving Yamagata.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

+x+x😂 hilarious comments! My favorite is ‘Australians aren’t allowed to support celtic’. Fine with me you haggis eating morons 👍 lol they are proper morons aren't they. They actually turn me off being a celtic fan, complete retards. Though i hate it for football, id love to see some group with a heap of cash just load up hibs, aberdeen or hearts (or all of them) and just throw the whole glasgow domination on its head. I've always had a soft spot for celtic but almost every proper celtic or rangers supporter I've come across have been self untitled pricks and their forums seem to back that up.

Regarding [1] – It was tried back in the early-mid 2000's with some Lithuanian or Russian multi-millionaire/billionaire (cannae remember which) with Hearts. During that period (2005-ish) Hearts actually split Celtic (1st) and Rangers (3rd) by finishing 2nd, which came with the reward of qualifying for the Champions League qualifying rounds. Unfortunately for Hearts the guy was crazy and a control freak. If he had just left the running of the team/squad to the manager(s) and coaching staff who knows what could have happened. But as I said the guy was crazy and a control freak. So much so, that he started to dictate to the manager(s) which player(s) should be picked and played, and which player(s) shouldn't be picked or played. His actions ended up being his, and that of Hearts worst enemy due to all the meddling he did. [2] – As for Celtic fans being "pricks," unfortunately just like within every other teams supporter base, along within all facets of life on this planet of ours there are "pricks". It is also unfortunately that it's usually the "pricks" who are the ones whom are the most vocal, loudest, the ones of who complain the most, the ones that give those of us associated/around them (people, teams, workplaces, etc) a bad name/reputation.

CELTIC have sealed the deal for Ange Postecoglou to be their new boss.Hoops chiefs agreed a compensation package with Japanese club Yokohama F. Marinos before the weekend. Now SunSport can reveal personal terms with the Aussie-Greek coach have been verbally agreed.Barring any last-minute hitches the 55-year-old will be officially announced as Neil Lennon’s successor within the next 72 hours. It brings an end to the club’s agonising search for a new boss which has lasted over 100 days.Because of strict Covid-19 travel restrictions Postecoglou may NOT arrive in the UK for another few weeks. Celts have plans in place for a pre-season training camp in Wales ahead of their crucial European qualifiers. And the likelihood is that their new manager will jet straight there rather than fly into Scotland first. There are also still red-tape issues to overcome over Postecoglou’s coaching qualifications. But a high-ranking club source has told SunSport that issue is nothing more than a formality. It will not stop the deal being rubberstamped in the coming days.Postecoglou is likely to get a lukewarm reception from fed-up Celtic fans who were expecting a big-name arrival. Supporters are still fuming negotiations with top target Eddie Howe collapsed at the eleventh hour after weeks of talks. SunSport was first to break the news that Howe was the club’s No 1 choice. However, he pulled out of a deal over issues with his backroom staff. As yet it’s still unclear whether Postecoglou will overhaul the entire Celtic coaching department — or whether John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan could be offered positions. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/7213566/celtic-agree-terms-postecoglou-appointment-72-hours/

+x+x+x+x+x😂 hilarious comments! My favorite is ‘Australians aren’t allowed to support celtic’. Fine with me you haggis eating morons 👍 lol they are proper morons aren't they. They actually turn me off being a celtic fan, complete retards. [1] Though i hate it for football, id love to see some group with a heap of cash just load up hibs, aberdeen or hearts (or all of them) and just throw the whole glasgow domination on its head. [2] I've always had a soft spot for celtic but almost every proper celtic or rangers supporter I've come across have been self untitled pricks and their forums seem to back that up. You mean the groin brigade ? No, not as a group anyways. That said, there are/will be a few that I would clash with, and some of their past actions I didn't agree with necessarily per se. But on the whole I think they are fine. The ones that I cannae stand/have issues with are the "keyboard warriors" type of fan - regardless if they are just trolling or actually believe some of the crap they say. In my opinion those types are the worst, because once you hit the send/post button it's out-there for all to see, and depending on the reaction they get or give usually makes things worse, and not just worse for them, but sometimes it can/does affect all those associated with the Club.
🇮🇪Hail Hail🇮🇪

Not that I follow Celtic but from reading a bit of the forum they seem to be expecting results straight away. Ange seems to take quite a while before the results come. Wonder how long they'll give him if results don't go his way early.

Funny that the celtic board think Ange is good enough for them though 🤔 Geez if we earned a dollar for every celtic supporter on this AUSTRALIAN FOOTBALL FORUM that was supportive of Aussie players and coaches - instead of being overly critical and BIASED towards Scottish football interests - we would have about $1.50 👍
