+x+x+x(1) Not that I follow Celtic but from reading a bit of the forum they seem to be expecting " demand" results straight away. (2) Ange seems to take quite a while before the results come. (3) Wonder how long they'll give him if results don't go his way early. (1) With regards to you're not too far off. 🙂 I have "fixed" your comment for you. 😉 (2) As for he may need some time to implement his style and his philosophy, and that is fine –As long as he gets results on the on the way.
(3) If results are really bad, and 'that other lot' starts to run ahead out of sight', then maybe two or three months. If the results are poorly, but we are still in touching distance then possibly until the winter break.

Other then those I just mentioned there will be other factors that has slipped my mind due to me being so tired. Not to be a smartass but you're probably in a better position but realistically what's expected? It's all well and good to say he's expected to win ASAP, but from what I've read Celtic squad is in desperate need of "rejuvenation" I mean Edouard is as good as gone from what's floating around in tthe news, Ajer is in the same boat + a whole bunch of depth is out of contract or last year of their contracts. Christie's and Ntcham have asked to leave I think? Elyanoussi's loan is also up and I've read somehwere there's like a handful of fit defenders as well for the start of the season. That's a lot of 1st team talent to replace. Most of those guys are 1st team regulars and feature regularly. That's a lot of talent to replace if they all go to replace in like 1-2 months Duffy Kenny and Laxalt have all returned to their clubs from their loans too. Klimana already left. We have a very small squad atm which should get smaller

And what bigger test than the Champions League - in recent years they've suffered cut throat battles and cruelly fallen at the hurdle against the European might of Cluj (who apparently parked their tractors in the players parking spots) or Ferencvaros (who kindly took time off from attending far-right rallies to play celtic) Hahahahahahha your hilarious.

Other then those I just mentioned there will be other factors that has slipped my mind due to me being so tired. sounds like some in celtic are tired of the shit fight that's been there and they want ange in for the overhaul. some basic insight shows that just being the only rich club in the league wont cut it anymore and they will have to be a bit more strategic than bullying minnows - unless they are ok with welcoming in the age of rangers. it's pretty clear from the results in europe that what celtic was doing before - despite winning every year in a league of teams a level below - is not enough if a for a club that sees itself as big as celtic does. what does this mean. maybe long term thinking is more important than immediate results.

When things are going well he's great but at the first sign of fan/media criticism he believes is unjustified he cracks big time. It's honestly why I don't think he stays in one place for long. I honestly hope he succeeds but he is going to have to grow a thicker skin over the next few months because, unlike with his previous tenures where he was afforded a lot of goodwill early on, he'll be under fire before he has even played a competitive match. How has he not stayed at one place for long. He was at south, then had long stints in the national team youth set up, whatever happened in greece, three years in Brisbane where he won everything and a bigger club came knocking, then the national team came. 4 years there, and left because he wasn't being supported by the ffa (it wasn't the media) he was always going to persue club interests after. Off the japan, 3 years there a bigger club comes along. It's not like he's always gone sideways cause he can't handle, he's always moved up. That's not him being unable to handle pressure.

[1] Though i hate it for football, id love to see some group with a heap of cash just load up hibs, aberdeen or hearts (or all of them) and just throw the whole glasgow domination on its head. [2] I've always had a soft spot for celtic but almost every proper celtic or rangers supporter I've come across have been self untitled pricks and their forums seem to back that up. Regarding [1] – It was tried back in the early-mid 2000's with some Lithuanian or Russian multi-millionaire/billionaire (cannae remember which) with Hearts. During that period (2005-ish) Hearts actually split Celtic (1st) and Rangers (3rd) by finishing 2nd, which came with the reward of qualifying for the Champions League qualifying rounds. Unfortunately for Hearts the guy was crazy and a control freak. If he had just left the running of the team/squad to the manager(s) and coaching staff who knows what could have happened. But as I said the guy was crazy and a control freak. So much so, that he started to dictate to the manager(s) which player(s) should be picked and played, and which player(s) shouldn't be picked or played. was around 2006 - I lived in gorgie then. Impossible to get a ticket to games then.... Pressley, hartley etc....knocked off celtic there in a memorable game. What was the guys name 'Romanov' or something. Dodgy ties to a baltic bank.

[2] – As for Celtic fans being "pricks," unfortunately just like within every other teams supporter base, along within all facets of life on this planet of ours there are "pricks". It is also unfortunately that it's usually the "pricks" who are the ones whom are the most vocal, loudest, the ones of who complain the most, the ones that give those of us associated/around them (people, teams, workplaces, etc) a bad name/reputation. You mean the groin brigade ? No, not as a group anyways. That said, there are/will be a few that I would clash with, and some of their past actions I didn't agree with necessarily per se. But on the whole I think they are fine. The ones that I cannae stand/have issues with are the "keyboard warriors" type of fan - regardless if they are just trolling or actually believe some of the crap they say. In my opinion those types are the worst, because once you hit the send/post button it's out-there for all to see, and depending on the reaction they get or give usually makes things worse, and not just worse for them, but sometimes it can/does affect all those associated with the Club.
