+x+xblows my mind that Ange can come in within a few weeks his midfield is sorted. Bissouma/Sarr/Maddison would have to be one of the best in the league. then you have ETH at united who's had 2 years and signed one of the best 6's of the current generation in Casemiro and he still cant get it right, they got ran thru by wolves. All Ange needs now is a striker, young and hungry who wants to be successful in EPL. Ange needs another CB to cover for Romero and VDV as well as a striker. Depending on who leaves, Hojbjerg or Lo Celso perhaps, he might need another midfielder as well. Pretty tall order give there are only 9 days left in the transfer window. I also think the front 3 of Son, Richarlison and Kulusevski are not right for Angeball.

+x+xSeeing Ange wind-up Keano & Neville by playing front-foot football against Yanited might be one of the greatest things I've seen on the telly. They couldn't stand it. Also seeing Keano call Utd, 'Spursy', lol... Keane is a bit of a knob. Saying Ange is trying to be Man City FFS, he's always played like that - pretty ignorant Garry Neville on MNF when talking about Ange's system, "I think these coaches have taken a Pep Guardiola idea and made it quite ineffective." He seems to be projecting. He can't quite shake the "Valencia's worst ever manager" ghost that must haunt him to this day. Neville is your typical British navel-gazing pundit. Completely clueless about football outside of the mother country.

I reackon I have seen Richarlison do more "work" in these last two games than all of last season and the Everton season prior........ he may come good yet... Son looks out of sorts though. Really like Kulusevski though, I think you are wrong about him.....

Even though I’m no full on spudz supporter I’ve seen enough over the years. Kulusevski is good in the ball, one on ones and likes going forward - he under Ange I expect should improve. Son normally likes a through ball and one in ones but defending work rate has been his weakness - let’s see if Ange can inspire his work. Richarlson has been hit and cold for as long as I’ve watched him. Can be a game changer at rare times but to be a trafional striker ala Kane he just doesn’t meet the crosss enough at all. A loose ball around the box he can cause damage or score a worldly but not consistent. This position will be anges prob unless they buy a scorer. By the way pissa result against United just love it ! Press has been saying they looked better on the pitch than over the season and more United has had Tag Huer haha

Kulusevski, Son and Richarlison all look 'shit/average' since Ange took over - now i do think Kulusevski and Son will improve as the way Agne plays is a 180 to what they are used to with Conte and Jose park the bus tactics Richarlison is just 'rubbish' he had 1.5 decent seasons at Everton but overall i dont think he is 'any good' he is just an average player should be sold to a lower mid table club Where Spurs have looked a mile better is in the MF Maddision and Bissouma looks world class under the Ange system they're knocking the ball around like like Madrid but upfront they lack a finisher (obviously losing Kane is going to hurt) The certainly knocked the ball around better then us in the 2nd half (although would of been a different game if we got what id consider 2 clear Pens) I think Ange is doing 'bits' at Totenham but the club needs to back him he needs another CB and a ST b4 the window closes imho

I think Solomon is more suited to the role. I also think the biggest concern is Richarlison. I don't think he has the technical ability to play in tight spaces in Ange's system and I'm surprised Tottenham haven't put a bid in for a player like Kyogo.

You 'might' be right - Kulusevski might not suit the system but there is a 'good player' there but good players dont always work in certain system. Bissouma was terrible for Conte but under Ange he is flying. Richarlison is terrible honestly speaking he just isnt at the level require to play for a top club - i did think he was 'alright' at Everton but never outstanding - i think under the increased pressure of a big club he just isnt at the level. Im shocked Spurs didnt ask for a player from BM when they sold Kane someone like Gabriel Vidović, or even Kingsley Coman plus 50m would of been a better deal for them..... the issue Spurs have now is everyone knows they got 'Kane' money so if they go into buy a CF/ST they are paying though the nose i personally feel like the board have left Ange to dry, he clearly isnt getting backed if they managed to finish 9th or higher with the current squad he has done a good job. With the window close to closing i dont think he has enough in that squad to do much this season

If they don't bring anyone in, Ange will just have to do his best with what's available to him. It would be interesting to know what the board would consider success. Top 4 would be a tough ask without Kane. It would be good to get into Europe.

A striker and CB, I agree, are main targets but have to be quality to make an impact and at the moment there isnt much quality left on the market.

Kulusevski, Son and Richarlison all look 'shit/average' since Ange took over - now i do think Kulusevski and Son will improve as the way Agne plays is a 180 to what they are used to with Conte and Jose park the bus tactics Richarlison is just 'rubbish' he had 1.5 decent seasons at Everton but overall i dont think he is 'any good' he is just an average player should be sold to a lower mid table club Where Spurs have looked a mile better is in the MF Maddision and Bissouma looks world class under the Ange system they're knocking the ball around like like Madrid but upfront they lack a finisher (obviously losing Kane is going to hurt) The certainly knocked the ball around better then us in the 2nd half (although would of been a different game if we got what id consider 2 clear Pens) I think Ange is doing 'bits' at Totenham but the club needs to back him he needs another CB and a ST b4 the window closes imho I'm not convinced Kulusevski is the right fit to play on the wing in Ange's system. With the window close to closing i dont think he has enough in that squad to do much this season From interviews it looks like the mani focus now is to sell the excess players they Do have..... A striker and CB, I agree, are main targets but have to be quality to make an impact and at the moment there isnt much quality left on the market. Richarlison is terrible might as well sus some of the lesser known leagues like Japan, Mexico, Chile etc and gamble on someone who is young the play that useless bloke

Kulusevski makes it 2:0. Spurs in 1st live. I'm sure they touched that spot under Pochettino and it's early days but nice things are happening. 25min to close out and concentrate.

+x+xSpurs should be 2:0 up. Decent play but Bournemouth dogged. Richarlison somehow stuffed another golden opportunity - Spurs need to go into the transfer market and spend a bit of that kane money before the window shuts Last week vs Man u he didn't score, but had a great attitude and work rate. This week, started off OK, but then mentally cracked. more and more of his involvement in the game was negative. Compared to team mates, he looked unable to keep up with the pace at times. Granted at times was heavily marked and chances weren't clear cut. Looked fatigued, frustrated and gave away a silly yellow minutes into the second half. Had the facial expressions of an angry 4 yr old and was rightly hooked. It's not working out for him.

Hes like a spoilt kid on the park - as Dav mentioned he was lucky getting out of the toffees to spudz, he’s a liability a lot of times through games, mentioned he’s so hot and cold then pulls off the rare worldly if when that occurs. Anyway good start for Ange happy for him and us aussies.

Anyone reckon ange has had to adapt his personal style? He seems to have tried more with media and come across as nice humble guy (not passing judgement on his character at all). I just know from players in the past and said that the whole entire time they played under him they never had a single conversation with him.
Watched them last night. Really good to watch as a neutral, I really hope they keep it up.
Super exciting year for aus on international stage tbh.
Men’s and women’s did well, and now ange flying the flag.
