+x+x+x+x+x4am koff fellas....... I'm not bothering adding anymore about who should be starting or not, good to see all your input but out of mine/your hands :) Not bothered anymore who starts for it will be what it will be, all I want to see is whoever is on the pitch putting in 150% to FT, 150% effort do or die throw your body on the line. Gonna be a stressy early morn show to sit through but lets bring it on please to the veryvery end just give me that at least. Mate I know your going to hate me for this but I dont think Im gonna get up for this tomorrow..... I am in the same boat. Having said that I couldn't watch in 02 qualifier the second leg, but that was because I was too nervous. I havent really missed many Roos games, but always had hope leading up to any game... this time around...just numb..... :( Eg I watched Australia v Brazil in 06 sitting on a milk crate in front of a 24inch tube TV in an empty travel agents office at Venice Airport with 3 Italian cleaners and my wife while on honeymoon hahahahahahah and still expected to win ha ha awesome. I was behind the goals for that one :) So was I. I'm totally freaked out about tomorrow morning - not least as our players are dropping like flies. Still think we're a chance if they can't even beat Gambia, but I reckon they'll want it more than us and the ref will be on their side. I'll still be watching though, and I note it's on 10 so you can tape it. I've already done so and will get up to check the carnage when it suits me. Go Socceroos! he says, with little conviction. Fuck off Arnie.

+xI thin we must put Boyle in the middle and play our wingers over Maclaren. Stensness could start at CB under Arnold. Agree. But knowing Arnold he will put Leckie or Duke up front before Boyle 🤪

Fuck off Arnie. Gambia recently made the quarter finals of the African Cup of Nations and beat Tunisia along the way, who are in the World Cup group that we’re trying to get into, so perhaps UAE drawing with them actually was a reasonable result.

What is your best guess of how long after the game finishes we will be able to stream the replay on the 10plus app?

Mate I know your going to hate me for this but I dont think Im gonna get up for this tomorrow..... I just can't. Dont expect you to understand but this is so disappointing I just dont want to even entertain the faint glimmer of hope because Im sure it is just going to lead to NOTHING. First time in a VERY VERY long time. In saying that I really, really, really hope I am just being melodramatic and I wake up in the morning and the headlines read "Socceroos Triumph" and 40 posters calling me a weak willed, plastic supporter... I really do :) I'll probably get up BUT the advantage of this game is if we win, there's another game in a week. If we lose, it's better you didn;t get up A 4am start time! Old man Muz is thinking the same thing. Probably get up though. Friggin football.

For anyone who’s interested, we’ve got Uzbek referee team tomorrow, and a Korean 4th official.

Rowles was steady against Jordan but hardly challenged. Nuts to think Souttar, Sainsbury and Degenek are all out. If Deng had only sorted himself.
Arnold got all the excuses ready. God I hope the team go rogue and play for each other.

Still expecting a win for UAE on what is practically home turf, but maybe the lads can get it done. Big moment for Atkinson. No Taggart is interesting.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Taggart and Sainsbury are out with 'niggles.' Surely Degenek isn't completely fit. Maybe Arnold feels he is cursed after the Asian Cup game. I suppose these two at the back are still more stable than Stensness.

Can't believe Redmayne us our #2 keeper!!
Also, the fact that two players in our back four have 1 cap each (Atkinson and Rowles) in such a critical game surely shows a complete failure to manage this squad through the campaign. I'm a big fan of Atkinson, but why on Earth has he not played more in this campaign if you're now going to throw him in for this sudden death fixture. Likewise the decision to start Rowles ahead of Degenek, given his experience as a mainstay throughout the campaign makes no sense!
Yet another unexplainable decision. Metcalfe good enough to start against Japan, but now he's not even in the squad for the Socceroos (or Olyroos!).

No Vukovic, Taggart, Sainsbury, D'Agostino and Davidson

+xApparently Leckie is going to play up front and Boyle on the right. Yeah, interesting hey. He's going with Leckie up front rather than Duke, Mclaren or D'Agostino. Not exactly a shining endorsement of those 3! And keep in mind Fornaroli and Cummings overlooked entirely.

I am not confident. The defence is too inexperienced The midfield is reasonable And we don't have a striker good enough to play so we are going with a winger up front.
Ryan is going to have to have a good game and perhaps Goodwin can deliver a good set piece.
