Going to the Victory vs Brisbane game tonight. Level 3 is closed (on both sides) and "valid" members are required to redeem tickets on level 1 if they want to attend. Will be interesting to see if a) the supporters turn up and/or b} the players turn up.
Other than this game, the other Melbourne derby will be worth a look.

I could see the whole hassle of the process putting a few people off. That being said, we typically see lower crowds this time of year as many people (especially families) are still away on holidays. It will be a low crowd number, but should still be higher than WU and MC have been getting.

There are no patterns of play in this game. Both teams look like they haven’t played together and it’s Rd 10 or so.

The atmosphere at MV v Roar is abysmal without active support. The game misses so much without any atmosphere.

+xTaggart can't play for Perth until the 10th or 11th January Apparently Beevers has spat the dummy. Neither Beevers nor Ryan Williams in the line up for tonight's game. Our opponents must enjoy a guaranteed 3 points when they're scheduled to play Perth.

MV Official attendance 4392 Atmosphere was non existant. Terrible game. I imagine many watching at home decided to switch off.

How on earth does Cameron Cook not start every week ahead of Liam Reddy. Even last season he was the superior goalkeeper.

What I would like to understand is how the ref didn't hand out a yellow or two to Victory until their 14th foul. Others have said how Popovic sets his team to foul consistently through the game and had double Brisbane's foul count. @Muz (or other ref's). Back when I played there was a "ungentlemanly conduct" catch all. Does such an offence exist today? A deliberate tactic such as Popovic's should be sanctioned.

Di Pietro’s helm is really just organising long lunches MV are nowhere near where they should be. Popovic needs to go but they probably can’t afford to sack him.
The football is so dire for a team that should be attacking. And the recruitment is absolutely laughable.
I’m going to go to Adelaide away but only cause my son is looking forward to it. Unless he wants to go and cannot see myself attending for a while until it changes.

https://youtu.be/nIBHqx8_Qn4Wellington Sydney ending. Odd it's sky blue on navy. Not a clash but the best contrast should be worn.

McLaren just 9 goals behind Berisha now. Should break the record this season now the way he's going.

I've heard that called 'rotational fouling'. Hard to police. 'Ungentlemanly conduct' is covered these days by 'unsporting behaviour.' From law 12. Cautionable offences A player is cautioned if guilty of: delaying the restart of play dissent by word or action entering, re-entering or deliberately leaving the field of play without the referee’s permission failing to respect the required distance when play is restarted with a dropped ball, corner kick, free kick or throw-in persistent offences (no specific number or pattern of offences constitutes 'persistent') unsporting behaviourentering the referee review area (RRA) excessively using the ‘review’ (TV screen) signal

Glad to see a Rugby League mad friend who generally wouldn't go to a Mariners game at the Adelaide game with wife and 3 daughters today. They loved the cannon.
