I've never managed Athletic before, but I can imagine it's hard work developing your own players and whatnot. Good challenge.

Yeah, chose Athletic in the end. I was planning to do something similar with Celtic anyway, with the 30M Glasgow Radius, so this should be fun.
Squad is a mix of decent/average players and a few stars. They'd played 12 league games, and only scored 10 goals. 8 of which have come from Iker Muniain. We've scored 14 in all competitions, and he's scored 11 of them. Just scored a hattrick for me in my first match, a 3-1 win in the 2nd Leg of a Copa match. Have a feeling we'll be relying on him for a fair bit

Gonna do some heavy scouting in the offseason. Club is in a very good financial position atm. Meanwhile, Muniain has scored half our goals this season (14/28), and has a further 2 assists. The day he goes down injured, is the day I give up on trying to keep us up:lol:

The thing with Athletic is that Basque players get very, very expensive.

Brighton away to QPR. 1-1 at HT. Centre back gets sent off in the 60th minute. QPR score two in the next 15 minutes including an absolute screamer from 35 yards. 83 minutes and we pull 1 back through the funniest goalkeeper error I've ever seen on FM. Keeper tries to keep the ball in play, does, but punches it straight back into the middle to the feet of Jay Rodriguez. I then decide to pull Gary Hooper who's had a poor game and chuck on Owen for a last roll of the dice. 3rd minute of stoppage time, Owen picks up the ball 30 yards from goal and proceeds to lob the keeper. Crazy stuff \:d/ \:d/

Of course, my cause is helped when things like this happen: Worth noting that not only are those 2x Right Backs my only Right Backs (Playing a DLC at RB), but they're also in fact the only other defenders in the squad, bar the 4 players that are starting. That's right, this team had 6 defensive capable players, and that's it. #-o

Ended up finishing 12th, and runners up in the Copa Del Rey to Sevilla. They finished 7th, so we end up with the Europa League spot, so pretty stoked. Considering when I took over we were 19th, and had draw 1-1 in the first leg of the 4th Round of the Cup, to a non league side, I'd say that's a pretty good turn around.

Took over Derby when they were last in EPL with 1 win in 15.
Since then, won 4 on the bounce. Winners in the 84th, 93rd, 90th, 82nd. Fuckin win. Such an average team too  Been a bit lucky.
Almost in Jan, hoping to strengthen at least 4 positions.

I think my game has just been corrupted... All of a sudden I cannot score... I have about 20 to 30 shots and can only score when they give me an own goal, they go down the other end, 1 shot 1 goal... So frustrating at the moment...

I'm currently in charge of Gloucester in league 1. We hadn't lost in 20 matches going into January and had built up a 18 point gap at the top. As soon as the new year comes the defence just implodes in the first half of games. 8 games in a row 3-0 down with a man sent off.

They had some scoring problems with the new patch, dunno if that's got something to do with it? It's Feb, Carlos Tevez has been out for 4 months with injury and has played just 3 league games and 9 apps all season to his name and thus is complaining about not getting enough football #-o

Mick McCarthy has somehow turned Scotland into the powerhouse of international football. They won the 2014 World Cup, have just won the European Championships and haven't lost since 2013.
