I'm really unsure on Le Guen - His WC debut with Cameroon has been dismal and his record is mixed at club level - great success with a strong Lyon side ofcourse, but his failure with Rangers partially involved cultural issues (Banning drinking or something) and the Australian culture isn't THAT different from Scotland, including many of our boys featuring in the UK, including some in the SPL.

And being in his mid 40s, he's still a young coach! Preferably we need a guy over 50 who has atleast 15 years experience as a senior coach, including, preferably, previous experience coaching at an International level.

I'd even prefer the far more experienced Lagerback, Aguirre, Rajevac or even dare I say, Sven Goran Eriksson... nah I retract the last one.

Pim doesn't have THAT much senior experience, including international/World Cup experience, but he still has alot more than Le Guen. But we saw that even for Pim it was hard, once you got to the WC. And for Le Guen, even HARDER for him perhaps, given how bad Cameroon failed to the likes of Japan. Infact Pim didn't have the greatest of success with South Korea and they were quite prepared to him go - So we're again after the reject of another's NT, another one prone to failure when it comes to the big tournaments?

I think we have to think a little bigger than that. Again we must learn from Hiddink era - Hiddink may be one of a select few, but still, he was VERY EXPERIENCED, so that should be considered for our NT. It's best to have a been there, done that (and reasonably well), tactician, including at WC level, IF that's possible.
