Disappointing to see Warner get out. Was hoping he'd stick around. Fantastic running for that 4. I'm off to the second day tomorrow with a mate :)

Great hat-trick ball Hilfy, unlucky.
God I hope India aren't like this for the rest of the series.

Call the Umpire a wanker, and the Indians a bunch of cheats!

This might be a belated comment, but I watched all days of the Bellerive test against NZ at the ground.
It was a brilliant game. The Australian media should have been more gracious in praising the Kiwis for a great performance. Most spectators thought it was the best live sports event they'd seen.

Great win by Australia.
Tendulkar didn't look like getting out until he got out in both innings.

Quote:Simply embarassing win actually when you think only 4 players in the our second innings made more than 10 runs. Innings extras was the 4th highest run scorer for us :S Probably less a case of Australia beating india and more india beating themselves then.

It'd be good if india could rally a little, just to keep things interesting.

BOWLED HIM. Middle peg. Kudos to the 3 pacemen with a wicket each. Once we get one of Laxman/Tendulkar we are sweet

Dravid now gone. 3/58. No team has chased 200 successfully at the MCG in the last 49 years.

A total of 290 has only been chased down successfully 3 times at the MCG. And hasn't been done since South Africa got 297 in 1953. This is probably the worst Australian team since 1953 though...

Lead over 250. At least something to bowl at. Brilliant to even get to this stage considering the position we were in yesterday.
