SU: BWE will be one muddy affair today as the SU home ground playing condition is way below average.

I visited this ground for many years but never seen it in this poor condition, one third of the playing surface has no turf at all (goalmouths and near the dugouts) and the rest hardly any. I watched the youth yesterday and if football deserves any justice than this game should be rescheduled to another venue.

TBH some local football parks are in much better state.

Yeah, ground is disgraceful.

They havent learnt anything from the last couple of seasons. The youth should not be playing on the main pitch, you cannot have 5/10 games on there every week and expect the pitch to hold out

The drainage near the dugouts is horrible.

The pitch has gone to shit ever since Gilligan died.

The problem is that that side of the pitch doesnt get any sun at all due to the Boka Stand.


Average game today but we were the better side. We had the two best opportunities:

1. Vidaic somehow missed a sitter from a meter out... the keeper somehow saved it but Vidaic was confident that it had already crossed the line.
2. Glavas slotted the ball past the keeper but the Japanese bloke slid in and cleared it off the line.

BWE had a good chance in the second half but Janjetovic did well to save it. Apart from that they didnt have any other clear cut chances

we beat suitho last game as well in the waratah cup......3-1

thank god we beat marconi yesterday given bankstown and parramatta's continued resurgence! and what a day it was with our 20's winning and our 18's going back to back after not winning all year.

anyway, crucial catch up game this sat against APIA. if we can get more points there, will help but realistically, anything less than all 3 points will mean end of finals aspirations.

comp is getting very tight with the bottom clubs getting results.

yeah amazing the bottom half of the comp.......same with the club championship points.......

does anyone know if the 10 points that are to be deducted from bankstown for contract infringements has already been deducted or if they are to be deducted at the end of the season...

im pretty sure they have already been deducted. the next few weeks will be crucial. nobody is gone, nobody is safe at the bottom end of the table.

There will be no games played this weekend due to the State Titles.

Round 16 games are sheduled for the 16 and 17 of July weekend, anyhow some Senior catch up games may be rescheduled for this coming weekend.

at bossley aprk, we had a very strong showing. then again, marconi's crowds have fallen big time.

Olympic cut 578 tickets at the gate, 400 season pass holders were scanned and kids under 16 get in for free so around the 1100 mark

a lot of sydney hakoa supportters will say 500 because our crowds are great compared to theres considering no one talk about us

i wouldnt be stirring if i was you. id much rather be in their position on the ladder than ours, regardless of whether they lost on the weekend.

lol.....winning isnt everything....and lets face it, you cant just spruke about your team when there winning a true supporter is there week in week out......

dont have a problem with o-lym-pic being on top of the table......good on em.......

but you have to agree strange their absence isnt it.....nothing worse than a bad loser is a bad winner......
