No way he'd be completely frozen out of the squad. Hes gone, Clut to snr squad. Any source for that? If he's still at the club, he's really fallen down the pecking order. A shame reallly as he looked like a good player. Came directly from someone at the club. It's not true, I saw him at the memberships tent at the last home game. Sure it wasn't Kofi? Doe just doesn't seem to be around the club at all, I know its not the best indication but he has stopped appearing in Instagram pictures with Brattan and Co and according to his instagram he was on Holiday about 3 weeks ago in Switzerland? Yeah it was Davies. I talked to him briefly, he said he has just been out with injuries and is looking forward to working his way back into first team contention soon. Oh well you cant even trust my mother.

I think we have bucklies chance of keeping brattan. The more I look at him play and look at his statistics the more I think he is too good for this league. I'm probably going to get flamed for saying this but I think he is better than milligan and should be our NT number 6

I just can't see us giving him the money he could get elsewhere. (Arnie is reportedly interested in him) I just bloody hope that if he does leave it's not to another a league club.

We will have some outstanding youngsters to come in (some already have)if we lose Berisha or Brattan. It's all speculation however. The very reason why we should be contracting and playing our exciting young guns whenever possible with the club's future in mind. Not some over-the-hill, third rate sterile imports.
In a resort somewhere

Can any of you photoshop guru's do a quick mockup of a Brisbane Roar kit based on the West Sydney Wanderers home kit substituting orange for their red. Call it the BR bumblebee kit. Balmain RL once had a similar jersey waaaay back in the day and it was rockin'. I was thinking lately how if Brisbane were looking for an away or 3rd jersey this may be the go. Thanks in advance. (Apologies for the post here. I can't find the "kit" thread I've seen around here before.)

Nooooooooooooooooo Great move for the kid though he'll most likely do a leckie and have to leave for first team football
Suppose we can hope that Doe steps up then and fills the void

with Yeboah gone our squad is becoming razor thin, before the season started we already had the smallest squad in the league(18).

Edited by Mfrendin_Roar: 19/12/2013 07:04:38 PM Is that because kwame is in Germany? Borello looked good the couple of games he has played in

So important to be tactically intelligent in our system. i.e not Ben Halloran

So next season we could potentially looking at a team without Kwame, Bes, Franjic and Brattan.

Henrique likely to start?
Speaking of Henrique, why hasn't he nationalised to Australian? I'm pretty sure he's been here three years now.

Im going to ask a controversial question but I mean it seriously
is brattan the best player in the a league? A couple of weeks ago he was the best defender in the league and the best at linking with the defence since the golden generation.
but his vision and insight and passing I mean it seriously...is he the best player in the comp? I ask it privately coz sfc and mv would shout me down coz of adp and milligan but I in really think he is...:-k

Up there equal first in the DM category with Milligan possibly over taken him. I'm just really hoping he doesn't leave in January.

I think he's better then Milligan. He's just got so much more to his arsenal then Milligan and I only think Milligan is seen as better because of MV fans beefing him up simply because he plays for MV.

I will go one step further. Is brattan a dark horse for the WC squad? Jedinak would be a lock. Milligan baring injury will be there to. Will Ange be looking to have 3 DM's in the squad?
I wonder if Ange is even contemplating partnering Williams and milligan at CB.
And Brattan would be the perfect player to have in the squad for the "experience" he will be in his prime come WC 2018.

Edited by roar #1 : 1/1/2014 03:20:48 AM he would be in my team on current form. A lot of players you have to play with other players to compensate for their weaknesses. Jedi is great defensively but makes people nervous withthe ball at his feet. Rogic mckay and bresc are great dribblers and passers respectively but dont do a lot of defence for central mids but brattan even more so than milligan is the complete pqckage imo. Id say that mooy is starting to be in that category too

Jedi is a fantastic player but he is 215th most accurate passer in the epl which is a little lower. He may do better under ange though
