first Moore now his brother. Jobs for mates much.
Not like it matters when the club gets liquidated and we lose all our players contracts.
How are we paying him ?

Like edwards and his sons, they where ideal for perth youth philosophy at the time and decent players, but they are still his sons. Ross is probably a good coach with good experience, but his the brother to john. Anyway not like we could get anyone with our current financial affairs. so probably the best we could get.

Difference is there can be no misconceptions in the playing squad as to why Ross is getting selectes ahead of other players. Ross the Boss has shown a decent amount of coaching talent. His West Adelaide record is extremely impressive. A brother-brother coaching team has worked in other sports in the past. Give them a chance, cant get much worse!

I don't have a problem with brothers coaching together but I am concerned that John Aloisi (who has one of the worst managerial records in A-league history) is surrounding himself with his mates who also happen to be very inexperienced as well.
If shit hits the fan will these guys be capable to give JA some hard truths. :-k

With everything that has happened and still is i guess it will have to do, we also had Liverpool and Villarreal if you want to count them. heres the link. https://theroarreview.wordpress.com/2015/08/04/brisbane-confirm-pre-season-schedule/

Is this the worst performance ever by a team calling themselves 'all-stars'? Imagine the score if Roar had instead played a run-of-the-mill side from the Gold Coast?

Video Highlights of the Gold Coast Allstars vs Brisbane Roar. Someone decided to add some funky music over this, so you may want to turn it off or on depending on your music taste  Edited by MrBrisbane: 4/9/2015 02:13:52 PM

Edited by MrBrisbane: 4/9/2015 02:13:52 PM Can vouch for the shit music. Only 2 goals I would say would cut it against a league defence. We seem to be finding mclaren well now. Far better understanding between him and the team. Petrat was a donkey. The defensive mistakes we made would cost us during the season.

Far better understanding between him and the team. Petrat was a donkey. The defensive mistakes we made would cost us during the season. Bored atm, so Just re-watching it again and some thoughts on goals etc 1st half, In the lead up to the Penalty the plays looked very good, good passing and you can see Maclaren is building confidence and linking well the team as you said. Penalty clear cut, 2nd goal the defender looks like he was expecting a longer cross and slipped a little, simple header. 3rd goal reminded of the days of Berisha making late runs in the box from across on the wings, really hope we continue that this season. Borrello down the right whipping it in low and hard for Jamie to finish, the defence will be better in the A-league of course. 4th goal out to the right again and low cross in the box with a dummy and Maclaren smartly out the back to tap it in. Just before the first half, our defence got shredded and GC really should have scored, which is a little concerning. 2nd half had another chance for GC to score from a header. 5th goal was from comical defending, just to easy but a good finish from Jamie again. 6th goal, we see the same again down the right with another good cross for Jamie to finish it off. 7th goal, some more comical defending  Borrello with the scraps. 8th goal, looks like a good counter attack with 4 on 1, Jamie smashed it in. 9th goal, comical effort from the defender for jamie to lay it off to Yango for an easy one. 10th more bad defending or maybe just tired, for Jamie to get his 8th. So from the 10 goals, imo i see 3 good goals which came from the right and whipped in to Jamie which i really like. Another good one was the counter attack, but the rest really came from comical defending. Still would like to see more shots from around the box, but other than that we are looking decent. Really hard to take anything from these games but it is what it is. Edited by MrBrisbane: 4/9/2015 05:42:59 PM

I'm taking a car load across as well, haven't been inside QSAC before so interesting to see inside as it's often mentioned as a Suncorp alternative if the removable stands on three sides were reconfigured to rectangular and the track ripped out. Personally if we ever do get out of Suncorp I'd favour a redeveloped Perry Park tho Edited by Waz: 19/9/2015 10:34:06 AM
