They've got a lot to pack into those final eight episodes, it will be interesting to see how they tie up all the loose ends and how much emphasis will be on the rise of the next generation of Capone and Luciano.
Historically speaking AR is killed in between the time jump from S4 to S5, I really hope they find a way to make him feature still.

Breaking Bad clean sweeps the Emmy's again, HBO really should have entered True Detective as a mini series.
It seems ridiculous that McConnaughey won't win anything after his performance but TBF Cranston was equally brilliant.

Theres only 1 series that was more pedantically made than Breaking bad, and that was the Sopranos
Just think about Breaking Bad, the composition for every camera shot, the sound. It was almost as neurotically made as Walter White was to cover his tracks that he was a meth cook

and david chase has told people what would happen next after the final scene for the sopranos
Of which Chase said Tony is alive
but he then said he was misquoted, and whether or not Tony lived or not was beside the point, actually, there was no answer as to what happened after the final scene, so lets just forget it :-k

There are entire theses written on why he died, who did it, how it connected and what themes it represented.
The creators refused to confirm/deny, they just stick to the "Everything is in the show" line.

there is a common discussion where they say the show tried to make what seemed so obvious to be something smarter and sophisticated than it ought to be
The same thing can be said of David Michod's/ Nash Edgerton's "The Rover", a movie which has the same plot as Dude Wheres My Car? but pretending to be some aestoric, eclectic movie as a trade off, because David Michod was the guy who made Animal kingdom

The Family Guy/Simpsons crossover is one of the worst things I've ever seen, it's just a huge reminder of how shit both of them have become.
The Homer vs Peter fight scene is probably the lowest either show has sunk, it was unwatchable
