Even though such an important character died it still felt like such a nothing episode IMO, it's a real shame they made Tyreese a pussy as I believe this isn't the case in the comics? Also as much as I hated the hallucinations having The Governor back was the only highlight of the episode for me, I'd forgotten how good a villain he could be.
I thought that the episode was ok. It was a necessary plot device for where I think the series is headed. They play around a fair bit with forbearance in this show, and there was a huge one this week other than the obvious.
Tyrese was dead long ago in the comics, and his moral barometer wasn't quite as strident as it was in the show. I wouldn't call him a pussy, probably more conflicted than necessary. I always found it weird that he survived so long, when he was talking to Noah about saving Judith it was like the writers were trying to justify his existence up until that point. Mind you, in the comics Judith also died at the prison. This episode had one purpose, find a reason to head towards Washington despite Eugenes lies. In the comics, Rick has always had a right hand man. First it was Shane, then Tyrese, then Abraham and then someone new. In the show, he never had that relationship with any of these characters and Daryl has taken that mantle.
Wen I finished, I felt like it could only be half way... Also agree that they butchered Tyresse's character. He was such a badass a few seasons ago when we appeared to be swarmed by walkers, and then just breasted his way out of it. Hopefully it picks up again next week. The character range is so fucking bland at the moment, everyone is stale. Whilst I disliked the visions during the episode, it was awesome seeing the girls and the Governor again.
I suspect what they are leading to will blow everyone out of the water.
We have a "Rita in the bathtub" moment coming, although I don't think that it will be this season, probably the midseason break of s6.
I expect that they'll meet a character called Aaron in the next couple of episodes.

Saw the first two episodes yesterday. It's going to be great, for sure. Odenkirk is on fire.

Yeah I was worried if he could carry a similar show at such a high level as Breaking Bad as the lead but he clearly can with ease. If anyone hasn't seen him in the Fargo series alongside an equally brilliant cast, do yourself a favour and get on it.

Finally got around to catching up on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. So happy Nick Kroll made an appearance - I'm hoping every single James Franco roaster gets a cameo in this show

I think I'm done with The 100. I'm just about done with Arrow. Gave up on Flash a while ago. I've heard that Gotham has really picked up after I dropped it, but I haven't had the inclination to go back yet.
Yet to try Agent Carter, Better Call Saul, Fargo, Vikings and some other mentions.

TWD: It's obvious now that the show, other than some irreversible character changes in the first few seasons, is coming back to be relatively on-par with the comics so I'm going to stop talking about where we're at and where we're going to save from spoilers.
Ep10:
Noah is still a useless cunt. I really can't figure out what his purpose in the show is.
Smooth of the show runner to refuse to show Glenn eating dog
I found the episode where
Tyreese
died (what I'm up to date with) to be freaking boring, and hard to stay actively involved in. Hoping the next few eps are better!

Yep, was a necessary but weak episode. Lots of filler.

SNL 40 was amazing. 2 and a half hours of the best television you'll ever see. They did so well to pay tribute to one of the most influential shows ever made in one night.

I don't understand why they changed the format to extend it to 16 episode seasons, there has been way too much filler and the show is suffering as a result IMO.
EDIT Talking about The Walking Dead.
