Including via Telstra who I think are likely one of the first to get their filter up and running. If a high profile site like kickass was blocked there'd definitely be news articles about it but I can't find any. Also how ISPs are going to block isn't known yet but I'd be surprised if Hola will be enough. Wouldn't recommend using it even if it did.

Edit- im fairly sure the next step will be music, film and tv companies will side with, make agreements with telecommunications companies in order to retrieve a return on their investment But if that were to happen, im not sure what will happen to paid content providers like Netflix Edited by condemned666: 4/7/2015 11:46:46 AM

Edited by condemned666: 4/7/2015 11:46:46 AM Not sure about what you're driving at here? In order to recuperate people not paying for downloading content, the telecommunications industry would hold the upper hand because people are accessing intellectual property, and ultimately tv, movie and music will have to side, maybe even create exclusive deals Ie HBO & fairfax should look to be sharing the profits of telstra, etc etc

If anything it will encourage it as lack of (speedy) access to content is a big reason why many pirate. Foxtel are running an ISP now and I think they recognise that the Satellite/Cable model of distribution is on borrowed time (of course they've done their best to make that time frame a bit longer). In general though I don't see companies like HBO taking shares in ISPs as a way of "recouping" costs.

Its not, its a different commercial model acknowledging the fact that the consumption of tv, movies and music has changed - its the best way to monetize the internet without leading to things like blockers and censorship Although, apparently the numbers of people who download arent that high for them to consider it if they led us to believe Another point to consider: Games and Software cannot be downloaded/ pirated, because you buy them from websites, case in point The Sims, or Adobe Audition, but software is not something as simple as an mp4, mkv or mp3 file Edited by condemned666: 4/7/2015 10:36:41 PM

I knocked off the first two episodes of Mr Robot after watching that clip on the previous page and I can't wait to get my hands on the next episode, it's very good.
There's a kind of Fight Club vibe to it all which is good but I'm kind of getting the impression they're going down the Tyler Durden path with Slater's character, I really hope this isn't the case though.

I'd say yes but I reckon like the first season its one of those shows that will need to be appraised after the whole season and not on the 3 eps aired so far. That said its going to be pretty hard for anyone to top the performances of McConaughey and Woody Harelson Also has anyone been watching UnReal? Bit of a different sort of show about the behind the scenes making of a "the bachelor" kind of show. This weeks ep went pretty full on

Bit of a different sort of show about the behind the scenes making of a "the bachelor" kind of show. This weeks ep went pretty full on Its harder to get into than the first one. Season 1 you start with the murder case withing the first few scenes. The interviewing mechanic they used was good at drawing you in too. 1st ep of season 2 is a mash up of several different story lines trying to introduce you to the 4 main characters extended problems and family/people issues. Its hard to follow and makes no sense but episode 2 nailed it. Episode 3 was more back story and ep4 again nailed it. If you liked the first season youll probably habg around to see the second one through because I think the writer is building to it nicely. If you did see Ep4:
Great ep. the strands tying all the main players together are starting to show and the bust gone bad ending was a good one. Preview for next week looks like the time line has advanced a fair way (just like season 1's jump in time).
He was the tranny in Sons of Anarchy. I was stunned to see Jacob Pitts pop up in the series as Raylan's partner. Like most the of the Eurotrip cast, he'd disappeared of the face of the earth almost. Natalie Zea, Raylan's ex-wife (who they've gotten back together, sorta). Mint.

-PB I stopped watching a couple of weeks back, I'll just wait for it to finish and binge I think. True Detective really building some good momentum now. Obviously they weren't going to be able to top the ending of S01E04 but this ending was still quality.

Anyone been watching Open Slather? I really, really wanted to like it because I know it's not easy these days for Australian comedy television but Jesus Christ, it is so bad. Absolutely painful to watch.
