in regards to the drink-driving thing kc - i'm under the impression that they're after your blood alcohol level, so having it solely on your breath will do sfa.

i know when they breath-test you in nsw, they first ask you if you've had a drink in the last 10 mins (i think it's 10mins). if you say yes, they have to wait with you for at least 10 mins before testing you, and then test you. it's because the breathalyzer reads too much on-breath alcohol, rather than give a proper indication of the blood alcohol levels. if a breathalyzer says you're over, you have to get taken into the station & a proper test done. if you don't fail that proper test, you're free to go. the breathalyzer is more of an indication, and the full-on test is what you get fined/punished on.

if a dude kisses a drunk chick, he'll have alcohol lingering on his breath for a while but as long as he's past that 10 minute (or whatever length) period that the breathalyzer can accurately read his blood levels, he'll be sweet (unless he sits there consuming the fumes for ages, and somehow gets fume-drunk (not even sure if this is a thing).

at worst case scenario, if the breathalyzer somehow reads he's over purely from "secondary-drinking", the effects should have worn off by the time he gets to the proper test.
