It was a while back, on his official site. http://www.sergioaguero.com/notas.php?ID=298Translation is roughly: "I have expressed to Atleti my desire to leave,” said Aguero. “I've asked to receive, unconditionally, the offers that come from other clubs." “I am about to turn 23 and I have everything before me,” said Aguero. “It is sufficient to say that it is not an economic reason to leave, but strictly a sporting one. "So I want to clearly express my appreciation to the club for the effort they made in keeping me on a salary that befits some of the largest institutions in the world. “I also want to say that this decision has been in progress for some time,” Aguero continued. “The issue was even discussed and agreed with Atleti last year when I renewed my contract. I wanted to sign and renew my contract as a way to give back to the club what they have given me.” He added: “I then had the promise of the club that they would not impede my departure in June 2011.” Etc. It was big news, I'm surprised you missed it.

Approx 43 Million.
Sell:
Carroll = 36 Million + Enrique 10 mill + Nolan 4 mill = 50 mill
:D assuming we get all of them
THANK YOU!! MR JUDAS ANDY CARROLL. We just rebuilt our whole squad thanks to your trechery (in theory at least) I love the idea of N'Zogbia, Ba, Marveux, Taylor, Matuidi, Cabaye, Erding and Mbenge having an average wage of less than 17k/week. Priceless humour there. You Obviously didnt understand my meaning. I meant we have 7 million spare for wages. Not 7 million to split among wages. Someone is a bit jealous 5under1and have a crappy squad lol. 5-1 enjoy. :D. Maybe with our new squad your aim would be to keep it within 10 ;) Touchy touchy. You appeared to be saying that Carroll's fee would cover all costs. As for jealous... Why should I be? You beat us 5-1, but sacked the manager who got you the result, finished behind us in the league, and then sold the bloke who scored the hattrick against us and bossed the game from start to finish. Meanwhile, a list of players you may sign is nothing to make me jealous. I'll wait until the season starts and see who we've brought in before I worry about who you lot get. ;)

The Mirror reporting that if Luka Modric leaves Chelsea Gareth Bale will also follow him out of the club.
Modric alone is a huge loss but if they lost both him and Bale it would be a disaster.

Dear God, 20 million for Clichy? He's good, but not that good. I remember 7, 8 years ago when Barca payed about 22 million for Eto'o and that was considered huge. I'd cash in if I were Arsenal.

The transfer figures have gone through the roof recently. I wonder how much the Ronaldo transfer to Madrid effected the market. If he went for half that price, I don't think these 50-60million price tages would be thrown about.

 I wouldn't believe that Clichy story for a second, just put it in for the lulz. Although when you've got Gary Cahill probably going for 17m in the last year of his contract, well 20m for Clichy doesn't sound that crazy.

Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar has been offered to Roma as the San Siro outfit acquire Italy international Emiliano Viviano thanks to a Bologna blunder. Bologna Director General, Stefano Pedrelli failed to perform the simple task of writing ‘€4.7m’ on a piece of paper, and has resulted in the Italian international joining the Coppa Italia winners. With the club [Inter] paying €4.1 million for the remaining 50 per cent of Viviano's contract, Pedrelli's gaff meant no offer was made, and Bologna are now without a number one.

Manchester United are reportedly going to lodge a £20 (€22.5) million bid this week to acquire the services of Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri.
QPR are reportedly lining up a shock move to bring Italian defender Fabio Cannavaro to Loftus Road on a free transfer, according to The News of the World. The 37-year-old World Cup-winning captain was released from Dubai side Al-Ahli, and has apparently attracted the interest of QPR owner and compatriot Flavio Briatore, who wants a big-name signing.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Aaron Lennon is reportedly a transfer target for Liverpool, according to The News of the World.
West Bromwich Albion have reportedly added their name to the list of clubs interested in signing Chelsea youngster Daniel Sturridge, according to The Sunday Mercury. Albion manager Roy Hodgson is apparently keen to add to their striking options, and sees the England Under-21 international as the ideal choice for the Hawthorns club. However, Newcastle and Bolton have also been linked with a move for Sturridge, while Stoke are reportedly preparing a £6 million transfer bid.
Aston Villa are reportedly interested in a shock £14 (€16) million bid for former midfielder James Milner, according to The Daily Mirror.

That's an insane fee for both Clichy and Pastore.
PSG have spent some HUGE money this window. I don't know what they expect to achieve this summer though.

We've been linked with him for ages and we have scouted him in the past and at the U21 championships just past. Apparently we've already had discussions with the players agent and father.

I could see it happening if both Nasri and Arshavin left but that won't happen and I can't see us paying 18m for him We could always buy both, have Mata on the left, Gervinho on the right and have Walcott move centrally where he will inevitably end up anyway. It won't happen but would be brilliant if it did. Edited by sydneycroatia58: 27/6/2011 03:49:46 PM
