POPOVIC OUT! :-$ They aren’t as fickle as your lot. Sydney FC haven't won a game this season whilst Wanderers have won 2 already. CROOK OUT Haven't lost either. ;) Edited by Heineken: 1/8/2012 11:21:16 PM

Most NSWPL sides have pumped 4 past the shithouse bottomish of the table side spartans.
Last 4 games for spartans
Sutherland Sharks 4 - 3 Blacktown Spartans Blacktown Spartans 1 - 4 South Coast Wolves Blacktown City FC 2 - 1 Blacktown Spartans (should have been Blacktown City FC 10 - 1 Blacktown Spartans) Sydney Olympic 4 - 0 Blacktown Spartans
Very bad signs for wanderers and fans. I think when the HAL starts wanderers will get pumped hard unless they recruit some experienced quality.
One thing for sure based on tonights and last games performance I wont be signing up for membership...

I'd suggest that a training, administration facility with a small stadium will happen. A full stadium... perhaps. Plans are afoot. They will take time to grow. Where in Fairfield can you build a full stadium that is within a 10 minute walk from the railway station? The oval near Patrician Brothers or perhaps the site near the leisure centre. Keep in mind though, that the plans aren't for a stadium near the station, but instead out at the Western Sydney Regional Park. When I said Fairfield I was talking more in the wider sense of the LGA not as much the suburb. The two locations identified in the Sydney planning document in the Western Sydney Parklands are at Leppington and BSIP. I can't see Leppington being suitable for the Wanderers. There is no other location in the Parklands that is near a railway station or a major transport hub which is an essential requirement if a venue is to be successful.

How many Sydney United players are at WSW or going to end up here?
Just about time some one from BWE got a call, Nikola Stanojevic was a substitute.
A new franchise with an inexperienced coach, what a joke, a see a manual on how not to run a club here.

Well WSW are going to need to pick up their game if they are going to be a quality team. Last nights match was very average and no. 17 from the Spartans was making everyone look tired and slow.
People were walking out with 20-25 minutes to go.
RBB were okayish, flares and firecrackers got a cheer. I hope the Seco's didn't hand the kid they frog marched out over to the coppers. it was funny and no one had an athsma attack and no one was set on fire.

lulz at people reading into preseason match results with trialists too much. Hilarious.
If you are going to be this fickle, I don't think anyone will miss you if you don't attend matches.
Also, WSW already has an average attendance of about 3800..for 2 preseason midweek matches. We already have a higher average than Gold Coast

With 4 ex Jets on the field I expect a certain amount of cohesion between the players. Bridge looked tired and lazy (but what's new there?), especially when attempting to shoot and just hacking at the ball and as signed players I expect them to atleast be able to cross and pass to each other without continued turn overs and over passes. As for the trialists, they are atleast putting in some effort to score goals and not just moving the ball around. If you want to keep the averages up you'll need to start playing some attractive football otherwise by the time you get to Endensor Park no one will be bothered watching other than a few hundred. Quote: Tyson and Caira head new Wanderers signings NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers FC today announced the latest three signings in Head Coach Tony Popovic’s recruitment drive. Jerrad Tyson, Reece Caira and Jason Trifiro all become Wanderers FC players today after officially signing up to join Australia’s newest, oldest team. Local product Trifiro joins Wanderers FC after spending a number of years looking to earn his spot in the Hyundai A-League. The 24-year-old, who grew up in Winston Hills, will realise his dream when he makes his first appearance for the red and black this season. After spending a number of years in the NSW Premier League, Trifiro moved south to play in the Victorian Premier League with Northcote City and South Melbourne before earning his spot in the inaugural Wanderers FC squad. In what is a great sign for the region, Reece Caira, who spent time with Blacktown City has earned himself a contract after impressing during the pre-season. The 19-year-old has spent the past two seasons at the Aston Villa club which has provided him with the opportunity to develop his skills before returning to Australia to kick-start his professional career. Caira, a current Qantas Young Socceroo, will bolster the Wanderers FC defensive line-up where he can play across the back four or in a midfield role. Former Gold Coast United Goal Keeper Jerrad Tyson has also earned a contract after impressing during his trial with NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers FC. The 22-year-old made 15 appearances during his stay at the now defunct Gold Coast United and will work together with fellow goalkeeper Ante Covic between the posts. NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers FC Head Coach Tony Popovic with the three individuals and is happy to have them as part of his squad. “These boys have all earned the right to be part of the squad and it’s great to have them officially on board,” said Popovic. “They all have a different past and worked hard to get here but it’s great to have them officially part of the squad. “All three have been trialling for a number of weeks and will play a key role for us in our first season,” Popovic added. http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/wswanderersfc/news-display/Tyson-and-Caira-head-new-Wanderers-signings/48383

I guess he didn't impress too much in his time there given that Tyson was just signed.

If you are going to be this fickle, I don't think anyone will miss you if you don't attend matches.
Also, WSW already has an average attendance of about 3800..for 2 preseason midweek matches. We already have a higher average than Gold Coast  You clearly weren't around for the euphoria that involved a kid scoring 4 goals against a 4th league state club last week, were you.
