They are playing some Brisbane Premier League side tonight (Wolves something), then Melbourne Heart in Lismore (this Friday? or next week), then a game against Wellington over there and against the Jets at their membership launch. That's all that is confirmed atm.

That's all that is confirmed atm. good to hear melb h vs WSW is at lismore, there are plenty of football fans up there and sport fans in general. we as a league need to focus on having pre season games at these type of towns. they should have a good crowd as well and its not a bad stadium, perfect for a pre season game. Any news or rumours about possible signings for WSW? any trialist of note?

When do you guys reckon WSW vs SFC tickets for Round 3 are going to be released? And what are the chances of getting one?

GA availability will depend on how many GA memberships are bought I assume.

Basically, when tickets go on sale, get the fuck in early. I'll be snapping up 2, hopefully 3 tickets for the away bay/s. Taking the night off work for it too - Fuck if the biggest pub band in Sydney is scheduled for that night.

Well it would be pretty silly to work on the same night and at the same time of the game if you had tickets wouldn't it?

Hopefully won't be a repeat of the Jets late delivery (can't see that happening with Nike). I want some WSW stickers... anyone know how I can contact the club to make this happen? Wbsite has now contact details and can't contact them via Facebook.

vincenzogold wrote:Do we know when merchandise will be on sale? Jersey's etc.? 2 weeks is what ive heard on the grapevine. Merchandise shipping is always problem for any team. So maybe that 2 weeks will become 3. Word on actual jerseys being released is the last week of september, maybe even first week of october or even first on sale will be at round one v ccm.

Cheers dude. They responded in a matter of seconds. :D
I still can't get my head around the UI of Twitter. Drives me nuts. And that it's basically a feed of drivel and re-published content that I have no interest in, intermixed with the occasional interesting post. ](*,) But that's me. :P

Finished 0-0. Heart won 5-3 on penalties. Sounds like Mooy was good. Hard to get much information though.

Surely the Del Piero signing will also have a flow on effect to the Wanderers considering you guys are hosting them in round 3. Tickets will be sold out in minutes for this match when they go public so fans will almost be forced to buy memberships to go. It's a guareenteed sell out now even though it probably would've \:d/

Starting line ups for tonight were:
Tyson, Elrich, Beauchamp, Topor-Stanley, D'apuzzo, Polenz, Mooy, Campos, Hersi, Bridge, Haliti.
Redmayne, Marrone, Gerhardt, Gray, Behich, Thompson, Garcia, Fred, Dugandzic, Macallister, Williams.
Obviously, both sides made changes in the second half. Pretty strong Heart side - I'd expect that line up to start round 1 apart from Gray and Macallister. And possibly Redmayne. Without knowing how the game was played out, I would've expected a Heart win. But seems to have been an even contest.

not a bad result for you boys, drawing with the heart will give the team a bit of confidence. Starting to struggle infront of goal though.

A proper marquee(like HK & ADP) benefits the whole league. Edited by vanbasten88: 31/8/2012 11:04:16 PM
