First up we have what we strongly suspect is PazzInter's ludicrously elaborate attempt.

Whispers around town that Tony Sage's business dealings with Roman Abramovich could be about to pay dividends, with the talk of a Brazilian being something of a smokescreen. Roman's contacts in the motherland have provided Glory with access to a quality striker with pace and just hitting his prime. Check out the link - he actually went to the bother of creating a fictitious wikipedia entry. Aside from the nonsense Perth Glory-Chelsea link, the devil is in the detail, pazza.

1) Pay attention to the way clubs are listed on wikis. You got yours wrong.
2) It might have been slightly more believable if you had his first club within 1000 miles of where he was brought up.
3) Don't gild the lily - 81 goals in 111 games in the last three years. And he's about to sign for Perth Glory at the age of 28. Yeah. Right.
4) Most importantly, don't create the wiki page just seconds before submitting the rumour...and certainly don't make it using a name very similar to your login here.

While this rumour is nonsense, I saw an article in the paper a month back which said that Roman had recently brought a share in a mining company in WA, one which had a small connection to Tony Sage.

However, somehow I don't believe this rumour. I didn't believe this rumour from the second I saw it, and whats even funnier is that the Wikipedia link doesn't exist anymore.

Sounds about as credible as this rumour.

...But then this rumour would have been more convincing had the fictional player in question not been given the name Vadim Antonov which conjures up images of Chess Grand Master Vladmir Antonov.
