You could tell from her conversation with HS that Olenna was "next" - whatever that entails. Even the episode info says "The HS eyes another target. Margery takes this as "Oh shit, Olenna is screwed" so sends her away and gives her the rose (symbolizing that she's still loyal to the house). That's why Olenna was in such an upbeat mood when she read it, as her daughter isn't lost.
So why did the Brotherhood without banners go bad, I thought they were some what good guys? Also Arya should have been more careful, I mean she does know that she would be hunted and how dangerous they are. Overall another good episode, almost at the end of the season already.

Overall another good episode, almost at the end of the season already. Polly just a pack of bad dudes or religious reasons. Raged so hard that they ended the ep where they did. Sounds like there will be too much to squeeze into the penultimate ep. -PB

Anyone else think that it wasn't Arya that was stabbed? I thought that was ridiculous when I read the theory last night but the more I think about it the more it makes sense. I mean the last we saw Arya before this episode she was going to sleep clutching Needle by her side knowing that the faceless men will be coming after her. Now she's swanning about town with bags of money finding Westerosi to take her home, doesn't have needle and is just out in the open.
Just makes no sense really.

I reckon it was her, but it's plausible that the Waif deliberately made sure she'd survive so she can enjoy making her suffer and hunt her down etc.

She looks like she means to toy with her. I have this ill feeling that Arya will rejoin the battle and do something great. Then while we all celebrate BAM! faceless man.

Also just heard a theory that it was actually the Waif as Arya throwing the gold around to draw out attention, but I'm not sure how that would be to her advantage.

Make more sense for Arya to call out attention to fake her own death. But with time fast running out, they could just as easily see Arya escape to westoros and the Faceless men will never be mentioned again.

Probably because Arya has done some mad kinda face swap on some poor lass who is just realizing she's been stabbed rofl. -PB

I'm just trying to find ways for it to make sense, because what we were shown on screen makes absolutely zero sense

Some good comments on here discussing it, the more I read the more I believe it was not her as others have said on here. https://www.reddit.com/r/gameofthrones/comments/4mqstn/everything_why_i_think_that_was_not_arya/Shes hiding out at the end of last episode with needle. Now struts around town loud and proud and stands out on a open bridge Why didn't she have needle with her, when she knows she will be hunted? Where did she get all that money from? Arya is left handed and she uses her right in the scenes. So many more, it just does not add up one bit  Edited by MrBrisbane: 7/6/2016 05:06:34 PM

But to slaughter the entire settlement minus the hound does seem a bit over board for what ever reason. Thinking more they are just some bad eggs within the group. So with the brotherhood without banners returning this episode i've seen alot of people wondering about Beric Dondarrions fate.
Spoilers below:
Beric is alive. The people in the brotherhood who slaughtered the group were acting alone. Beric does know about the white walkers in the north and is presumably still the leader of the brotherhood without banners from what i can tell
