Roar are looking pretty good at the moment there midfield and the ball movement has been excellent and today they rested berisha,millar stef and Brown.Broich was untouchable and so was mackay in the midfield.

Yeah, entertaining game. Very even first half, United got off to a flyer with Mirjan Pavlovic scoring off a corner in like the 3rd or 4th minute. From then both teams had spells of dominance maybe United just shading it. Canberra's equaliser came courtesy of an epic fuck up from Paul Henderson, here on a short term deal. Not only did he come out and fail to connect cleanly with the ball he was then so slow to get back and was lopped from 30-35 yards.

2nd half United looked a much better side and were ontop for the majority. Got their lead back through a ridiculous header from Mate Bilic, somehow put it in from basically on the byline. United went down to 10 men thanks to a stupid challenge from Daniel Barac, completely deserved, but didn't really hurt United in the end, they still looked the side most likely to score and had it pretty easy in the end save for a couple of goal mouth scrambles towards the end of the half.

Be interesting to see if the side that Olympic put out that got done 11-1 was their first choice side or a bunch of kids.

I was thinking it would be good if this match could be shown on TV, but then thought about how would South Hobart and their 1000 capacity ground look on TV

I wonder what ground the final will be at? South's home ground is just beautiful and the pitch was in great nick when I was last there but hopefully they're aiming for a bigger turnout.

That would just be fantastic if a Tasmanian side could win it in their maiden season competing, how many other tassie sides have won a national title of any form? Just fairytale stuff for them!
