Holman's good to watch. He clearly wants to make the most of his time over there.

I've only ever seen him play RB and DM for Villa.

He's been ok thus far. Few poor touches but some nice ones too.

Holman is wasted out on the wing and he doesn't play the position properly, comes inside, doesn't present down the line for his fullbacks, takes up space his team mates need. When he gets the ball it's great. And the pressure he puts on the opposition has them spooked but yeah he needs to come into the middle.

Amini starts for the second time in a row for BVB II. Apparently some supporters made a banner for him... hopefully some pics show up later.

They were screwed the minute Bennett got sent off.

Herd is down injured. Ankle I think.

Villa have no subs left either... he's up and hobbling around a bit.

Herd played well. Holman could've played better. Now we have Kruse's game to look forward to now I think.

I'm currently watching Kruse and Ruka play at the same time hehe it's funky they're both playing in the same colour, attacking the same direction and playing on opposite wings. I'm so confused.

Scott McDonald on bench

pretty sure Ruka was involved in Mainz's goal. Dusseldorf are a mess. Kruse and their goalkeeper look good though. I can see them being relegated and Kruse snapped up by another Bundesliga club at the end of the season.

Yep, 90 minutes.

Ruka played 60 odd minutes before being subbed. Both he and Kruse were playing well in their games. Ruka didn't stand out, he looks ok in a good team. Kruse looks great in a shit team.

Fortuna are terrible.. wtfs happened to them all of a sudden.

McDonald scores 2 and wins the game for Boro. Get in Macca.

He shouldn't be for long though. Alex McCarthy has looked rather suspect in goals, and was caught out a couple of times today. Federici is wasted on the bench.

As you'd expect Schwarzer also got a full game.
