Cagey first half. Not much joy for either side, Utrecht look semi-decent going forward with Sarota/Kali/Gernt. Zullo average. Team looks a bit shit without Oar and Mulenga.

Zullo's cross strikes opposition defender on the arm, Utrecht score from the resulting penalty.

Sarota's playin well. Utrecht 2-0.

Robbie fucking Kruse just shat on Augsburg's defense! A Messi-like slalom run and assisted for his his strike partner on a platter. This kid will be playing for a bigger club soon, that's a given

I'd assume RM. I don't remember ever hearing that he played DM for Utrecht.

I thought Zullo was better than Sarota in the Utrecht match, the latter was a bit invisible.

Arguable since Sarota attempted and completed more passes than Sarota.
Looks like he played at left mid too in place of Tommy.

In answer to my own question... Davidson played centerback but switched on occasion and made a few forrays up the left flank.

Don't forget Kruse is 3 to 4 years ahead of these guys. It matters

But typically a player's technique, or what we describe as technique, is developed years before they become a professional.

I'm not a massive fan of Leckie- I think he is a limited player, but I do think can be effectively utilised with the right management.

I don't think he'll ever be as good as Kruse.

Any news on Dave Carney....he would be a good addition to an A-League team.

Sarota played LM this game. Also he used to play DM when Utrecht were playing 4231, but now usually plays RM in a 442.
